Q: What is breathability rating ?

I am unsure of a literal number, but have worn paclites for many years. Always wear a top with sleeves underneath and results are amazing. Flesh against the goretex lining causes sweating, as these have no cloth lining for lightess

Q: does this have pit zip opening under the arm

This jacket does not have Pit Zips. It is a simple lightweight garment for summer use.

I don't like the new design, the pockets are in the wrong place and if you don't zip the pocket any items will fall out, the chest pocket which was ideal for a phone has dissapeared and the hood used to be able to be rolled up and act as a collar, so I certainly wouldn't buy again, they shouldn't try to fix something that wasn't broken.
