Street Fighter: Round One-FIGHT!: Ryu and Ken find themselves setting out to investigate the murder of their martial arts master. Their search for answers takes them to Japan where M. Bison and his assorted minions including Cammy, Vega, and Sagat keep a close eye on Ryu for reasons unknown. This draws the attention of up and coming Hong Kong Interpol agent Chun-Li and US Special Ops officer Guile who each bear their own personal grudge against the evil Shadaloo syndicate. Street Fighter, it is a universe where fighters of every size, shape and color collide in a global battle for supremacy. From every corner of the world, martial artists, boxers, wrestlers and fighters of every conceivable sort perform superhuman acts in their willing (or unwilling) participation in the Street Fighter Tournament-the contest being hosted by M. Bison, the sadistic dictator and leader of the underground Shadaloo criminal organization. Some contestants fight for reasons as diverse as their nationalities...some fight for money, answers, or vengeance, while others fight for reasons completely shrouded in mystery. Street Fighter, the legendary franchise by CAPCOM that revolutionized gaming and entertained players and fans for over a decade with its unforgettable cast of World Warriors, comes to DVD based on the bestselling comic series. A unique DVD that carries every pulse-pounding Dragon Punch and bone-crushing Sonic Boom intact, just like it was meant to be! This is my first experience with animated comics. The art is spectacular. There is a fair amount of animation, such as a character flying across the screen when he kicks, debris flying around, or Ryu's headband waving in the air. The characters' mouths don't move though. Still, thanks to the option to watch it with or without voice bubbles, this is practically like watching a cartoon. The story is very mature and well-written, much better than any of the Street Fighter animes in my opinion. Characters from Street Fighter 2, 4, and Alpha all make appearances. My one major criticism is the voice acting. The actors are all terrible and they mispronounce virtually every name and special move (Gouken's name sounding the worst). Ken's wife Eliza has been given a phony southern accent for no discernible reason, but at least her voice actor is actually a female. If I had to choose between the animated Watchmen comic's single voice actor or a bunch of crummy voice actors, I'd go with Street Fighter's janitors, I mean actors. The sound effects and music are good, thankfully. I recommend this for people who want to see the comic brought to life or just Street Fighter fans in general.

I thought this was the Animated movie or a movie I haven't seen but I happen to have it already in my collection. It's in good condition so it serves as a back up.
