Perfect little desk light
I LOVE this little lamp! I wish I needed another one because its so useful; So instead I'll leave a review. First let me say that I am autistic and this is relevant because most of us have sensory processing disorders. Visual overstimulatiuon or light overstimulation is a real problem. Think, its like too much electricity going thru the wires and frying the circuits. Basically too much light/noise/sound can cause pain. Lights with "warm" light settings like this lamp really help (vs "cool" or "white" light). This lamp has several light types to cycle through, and not only that you can turn the intensity up and down as needed. This is perfect for me as I stay up late my wife and toddler will be sleeping behind me so I like the light isn't enough to bother them. I have it clipped to my desk to use as a little desk light so I can see what I'm doing. I even use it during the day instead of turning on my big lamps. So So useful! Wish I had found this years ago. The clamp is nice an big, opens about an inch wide. Sturdy. The metal arm lets me bend the lamp any way I want which has been really handy. I love this little lamp!

Love this lamp! I bought 2
It plugs into a USB like your computer and has an adjustable goosneck. The switch has 3 tones of lighting you can choose from on the attached adjustor and also 3 levels of brightness. The clamp will attach to about any shelf like ledge and opens to a width of about 3-4 inches at its maximum. Its a great desk light and a great bedside tale light. I have also used one on my coffee table when doing my nails and watching tv.

Limited usage, fragile, and... just odd.
I just wanted a little lamp for my headboard... I'm super light sensitive due to chronic migraines that can last up to a month or more on top of having very little space for a table lamp. That being said, this clip-on lamp, is about as bare bones as you can get. It DOES have what they say it does... but they leave quite a bit out. The color tones of light work, the dimmer works, the clamp works, the gooseneck is very flexible, but it's all a ''just barely'' situation where you feel like you're making concessions to NOT be grumpy about it. The bigger things that bug me on this are: The plug and adapter: Plugging this into a wall outlet, if you don't get lucky enough to get the 90 degree adapter (like me), it sticks out a little over 4'' from the wall. Mine goes behind my bed and headboard, so that's a big oops. The cord is REALLY short. Around 4' long. Just going from my headboard to the plug in directly below it, there's maybe 3'' of slack. This is REALLY SMALL! While it is small, it does light a SMALL area really well for what it is, though it is 100% diffused lighting, meaning no concentrated area with a frosted lens. The gooseneck is really flexible, but unfortunately, if you are trying to clip this on vertically, it's NEVER going to sit the way you want it to. The lamp's own weight (which is really nothing at all) is going to pull it downward. This is really only meant to be used with a horizontal position of the clamp. The clamp is really odd... It pinches well at the VERY tip and has a non-marring rubber-y pad, but the depth of the clamp is right at 1'' deep. For my headboard having a decorative edge that is sloped, I can barely get this to bite. 1'' is about the max for the clamp jaw width as well, so if anything you are going to use this on takes more than 1'' to get to a flat, solid, horizontal bite, you're going to feel a little taken on this one. The gooseneck is nearly in the center of the clamp, so if you need to clamp this on vertically instead of horizontally, you're going to lose a LOT of length by trying to just get the gooseneck to go upwards, bending it 90 degrees up, then another 90 degrees down to aim the lamp at whatever you're doing, and again, the weight of the lamp itself, drags the gooseneck downwards. The control is really tiny, and is in line on the cord, but it's oddly almost 2' down from the lamp itself, putting it literally in the middle of the cord, which is all manner of ''Huh, well... that's awkward.'' I can't really be nasty about it, it does what they say it WILL do, but it doesn't do it sustainably or comfortably, and they leave a lot of these little ''um, we could do better, but... why bother'' issues out. This would be something you'd give a kid to clip onto their desk so they didn't ruin your nice lamps, or something you'd toss in your camping gear and use twice a year. Everyday use, it's not going to last long on it's own, and it probably won't survive you being frustrated that it popped off your headboard at 3am and scared the hell out of everyone while you screamed them awake, or the gooseneck folded down while you were sleeping and landed in your face, so you beat it to death like it was a giant spider before you realized what it actually was... All in all, it's a ''meh, kinda wished I didn't, but since I did, I guess we'll see how long it survives'' purchase. Add to that it took almost 2 weeks for this to even be shipped and on it's way... My brow has been furrowed for a while now, no wonder I get migraines! Good luck folks!

Nice lamp
The light is very nice. It's small, so it doesn't take up much room. I'm using it on my desk and the amount of light it puts out is perfect. And I love that I can choose the type of color mode and brightness I need.

YOU GOTTA GET THIS THING. WORKS EXCELLENT WITH A BATTERY BANK MAKING IT ULTRA PORTABLE
I am using this with a CHEAP-O "4000 mA" no-name-brand battery cell-phone charger. I am experimenting with it. SO FAR IT HAS RUN 12 HOURS (ON LOW / WARM WHITE) AND THE CHEAP BATTERY BANK IS STILL FULL. So yeah. This is great for camping and cars and such. Low setting is plenty for reading. YOU GOTTA GET THIS THING. IMPORTANT...To stiffen the lamp cable, GENTLY tighten the spiral neck of the lamp. It will stiffen as you tighten it, but BE CARFUL NOT TO TWIST THE WIRES INSIDE. If you stiffen it enough you can get the exact angle you want.

Perfect For Night Time Reading!
I like to read in bed. I tried a conventional reading light, but it's throw was too large and it didn't dim enough, so the light would wake my wife. I also needed something that would attach to the headboard without being too conspicuous. This little light is a perfect match for what I need. This light is powered by a standard USB phone charger, which is not included, but most people have several of these. It doesn't draw much power, so your oldest one will work fine. It's clear that someone put a lot of thought into the design. The light head is about the size of a K Cup coffee pod. It is supported by a solid, flexible metal goose neck that holds it in position easily. The attached controller has several buttons to adjust the brightness as well as the color of the light. There is also a power on/off button. All of the buttons engage with a solid but quiet click. When the light is off there is a tiny blue LED on the power switch to locate it in the dark. Once you get the light adjusted to your needs, it will remember those settings every time you turn it on. While this light is physically tiny it is capable of surprising brightness, so it will probably work for other uses beside nighttime reading. Bottom line? I just bought another one for my wife's side of the bed.
