Had this installed by an electrician so can't say how easy it was to install but seems effective in operation. The electrician left it set on 1kW although it can be altered during installation to 2kw, considering the price of energy these days we kept it on 1kw but I needn't have worried, 10 minutes on and our bathroom is nice and toasty and as I don't like to hang about in the shower I am sure the cost of running it will be minimal. I was so sick of freezing to death in our bathroom since we can't use the central heating and this seemed the obvious answer. Only time will tell how long it lasts and I may come back to update this review if the situation changes.

Compact bathroom heater, warms the room instantly.

I fitted this above our bathroom door to boost the heat of the bathroom, as the central heating towel rail wasn't keeping it warm enough. The fan heater works fine. However, it appears the "new" item I purchased was in fact a returned or used item. The instructions say the item does not come with a supply cable, but this one had a short cable already fitted that was marked. See the photos. I tested the fan heater before installation and it worked OK, so I haven't returned it. I bought a 5m 2 core cable to install it. Just for info, I have also shown a photograph of the 1kW/2kW switch inside the unit. I have left it on the default 1kW setting as shown, which seems sufficient. The fan is not too noisy, a reasonable price and does the job. I like the fact it automatically turns off after 30 mins too, although you can turn it off sooner if required. Time will tell how reliable it is. I will update this review if anything changes.

It’s an easy to use heater. On and off pull cord and will stay on for 30 minutes if you forget to turn off. I wouldn’t say it heats our bathroom it really just takes the chill off our very cold bathroom whilst showering. If you want it to really warm up a room I would look at another heater.
