Works great
This is a simple non-WiFi camera, perfect for what we wanted to start with. We put it out back in our woods just to see what’s wandering around. The picture quality is great, especially for the price. Seems to hold up well with the weather. We are happy with our very first experience with a trail cam.

Happy with the Trail Camera, unhappy with the instructions
I haven't gone though many of the other review but at least one other person has expressed unhappiness with the state of the instruction manual. This is my very first trail camera so no experience setting up and using. The manual is short and sweet and contains some information that is different than how the camera operates and it omits some info so you just gotta figure it out on your own. Now, I was able to do that but it was a frustrating couple of hours and then I even had to test use it for a while with various setting just to find out how they affected operation and to figure out what the manual was trying to say.As one silly example, when the camera was bought the description said that the memory card is included (and it was) but the manual says it isn't and when I read that I was going to return the camera but thought to check it first and it did have the card. And an odd thing is that when I put the memory card in my laptop it says there is a problem with it that should be fixed. I don't know what that might be and decided to access files and see if they would play. media player plays them just fine but then says on occasion that it doesn't have the right codec for them. But they play anyway. I've reformatted the card several time with the camera (not with the computer) and it still does this. Maybe if I reformat the card with the computer I won't get that warning.

Definitely a scam. Very poor quality.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE CAMERAS. I bought 2 for my husband for Christmas. We just set them up for turkey season. Now the return time frame is past and I’ve spent money on junk that I cannot return. They ARE NOT WATERPROOF! Both were filled with water from the first rain, even there battery compartment was filled with water. And they take eight AA batteries, each! They say to make them waterproof, you have to tip them at a 45° angle downward. Well, that would take a picture of the ground and not the animals that are walking past. That’s crazy. These cameras are advertised as game cameras. They are not sensitive enough to reliably capture wildlife on the trail. Sometimes the picture would take but most often not. The strap buckles broke when I tried to tighten them around the tree. The date stamp reverts back to 2024 every time you take the card out. The cards are these little tiny micro cards that men can’t even pick up or get out of the camera with their bigger fingers. The brand isn’t even written on the camera! We are very experienced with game cameras, and I kick myself for buying something that sounded too good to be true.

Good trail cam
I got this for my boyfriend since he was having problems with people breaking into the dumpster at his business. It was very easy to setup, takes great pictures day and night. So far, seems to work pretty good and has decent battery life.

Lackluster performance and options
First, for the price it does ok. There are some drawbacks that people should consider.First, it records video in AVI format and there is no option to change that. This format is an old windows format that can be viewed on any windows computer. I have an IPhone and a chromebook. So after downloading 7 different apps that promise to run AVI video I gave up and just use the photo option only. That brings me to the picture quality. It certainly is not 24mp quality. It’s ok, but not anywhere close to what would be “standard “ for today’s cameras. The positives: User interface is simple. Battery life seems good. Build quality is fine. No obvious defects or quality issues. This camera is relegated to watching my chicken coop, so it’s fine. I wouldn’t use this to scout hunting areas though. Spend a little more money and get a name brand camera for that.

Simple camera to Watch a driveway.
So far so good. Just set it up a few weeks ago to go on a trip.Didn’t really read the instructions well or thoroughlyStrapped it to a bush and it is almost impossible to see.Catches the license tags of any vehicles pulling in. And catches some critters as they walk by.Overall, pleased with it so farI already had rechargeable AA’s So I’m just switching them out When needed.I am Adjusting the settings better now based on The pictures from the first run.
