Good idea
A fantastic idea. D cell batteries are really expensive. Using rechargeable AA cells in these cases saves money and saves constantly looking for new D cells. They show a great value and function the same way as D cells when loaded with AA batteries.

Saves buying D cells especially for low power needs.
Works well for my concept 2 rower which was eating D cells!

Works perfectly, used for a pump for an air mattress. Don't need D batteries very often, also works well using rechargeable aa batteries.

Brilliant option to save buying d cells for rare occasions
Very happy with this product, it saves having sto keep D cell batteries in stock for the kids toys- we just keep AAs charged and pop them in these cases when needed. Battery life isn’t as good as a full d cell, but still fine for our needs.

These are great! Bought a toy which I knew wouldn't be played with for long and really didn't want to spend a fortune on large batteries. These work so well, and I won't have to buy any large batteries in the future either!

Great Idea!
Absolutely brilliant, bought these after converting my old maglite to LED and didn't want to have to buy rechargeable "D" size batteries and a charger, so I now can use any of my multitude of "AA" batteries!

a bit exspensive for what they are just a plastic cover for aa battery to turn it into a c type battery but do the job work fine no problem and do the job

Clever compromise.
Didn't even know these existed, but they are an excellent solution paired with the rechargeable AA batteries. This combo is for a portable CD player which requires C batteries, but the AAs can be removed for many other devices. You will need the charger as well.

Although there are cheaper brands of D-cell adapters, I opted to go with the more expensive Eneloop Pansonic adapters in order to ensure a higher quality item. I'm glad I spent the extra money. The Eneloop Panasonic adapters are really well made. If you need to change your rechargeable batteries often, these D-cell adapters will be able to withstand this use and abuse.

So good have recharge batteries again after 20yrs drought. Aredy starts using these AA and D batteries and so Save alot of buying disposable batteries.
