Honestly this is the best olive oil on the market. Both bottles have different and distinct flavors, both very pleasant. While they are not light olive oils, I have used them both to sear steak in a 500 degree pan without any terrible off putting flavor. To be honest though they shine as either a salad dressing oil or a dipping oil for bread. In either application their flavor will pop and make whatever the target food is feel special. The price is high for olive oil but I feel it is worth it and I will be ordering again.

It’s deliciously smooth yet has that little touch of peppery spice when you swallow. Yum!

Great product. You're wife will be pissed, if you use this good oil for cooking. It works great, but I had to replace it when she discovered that I used it.

Love this oil! I recommend you get the gold pour spout to go with it. Wonderful for salads and makes a great gift!

Has nice back of the tongue bite found with high polyphenol content. Very pleasant taste compared to other less expensive EVOO's. The cap needs improvement. You cannot pour this without pouring too much or having oil on the side after using.

From what I discovered reading up on olive oil it all said the same taste fruity and has a peppery taste in the back of your throat and will be in a bottle that is dark because it doesn't like light and hot places and this is what I found to be with this product. It is costly but you will benefit from the real deal.
