Reliable solution
This fence is super easy to set up, even for one person, and moving it around is easy. Installation is straightforward, and you can customize the length to suit your needs. It's a great value for the price, and way cheaper than buying everything separately. It’s built well, it holds up well, even with constant moving and weather exposure. The electric charge runs strong through the whole fence, keeping poultry contained. No issues, just a reliable solution for electric poultry netting.

Packs a punch
This fence is great. We put it up for our flock of chickens. We were having issues with opossums eating their eggs and racoons eating the chickens. We strung two of these together and made a fairly large field enclosure for our 13 chickens. We tried to use the suggested solar panel, but had issues and returned it. Instead we used the "10 Miles Solar Electric Fence Charger with Day or Night Mode, 0.11 Joule Portable Solar Fence Charger for Livestock, Preventing Predators from Intruding" sold by ANDMON. It is perfect. We haven't had any issues and this gives us a great sense of security for the chickens. My husband accidentally touched the fence when working in the yard and said it packs a good punch. We like the permanent attachment to the vertical support poles, so we can move everything in, mow, and them move it out very easily to keep from having excess grass/weed growth around the perimeter. It was easy to string them together and we've seen good connectivity across both lines even powering from one end. took us ~1.5h to setup two fences connected then another 30m to drill in the grounding rod and 30m to setup the solar panel (the improved one).

So far, pretty happy with it.
My previous netting was made by Premier 1 and was the basic temporary netting designed to be moved often and had the single spike. It was also meant for goats as the holes in the netting were much larger than this Pet & Livestock HQ netting and my turkeys would just walk right through it electrified or not, they did not care. I run a 1 joule energizer with this netting and so far, so good. Due to the way it's rolled up from the factory, out of the box it's a bit of a chore to unravel and lay out but, with a bit of patience, it can be done successfully. Having a second person would greatly speed things up. I would suggest buying one of those tape measures that roll along the ground to give you an idea as to where you fencing will go before actually unrolling it all. One roll of this stuff is 164' and although that sounds like a lot, it really isn't so map it out beforehand. Decide where you want your opening to be (where the beginning and end will meet) and tap the first stake in the ground using a mallet or sand hammer. Don't tap it all the way into the ground just yet as you may want to adjust the rods after you have it all laid out. Slowly unravel the netting and tapping / hammering each rod into the ground as you go around your desired perimeter. Tap the double spike part as opposed to tapping on the top of the rod. Continue one rod at a time until you meet up with where you started and tap the last rod right next to the first one. I hammered in a couple of 3/4" diameter (1/2" would work every bit as well) by 6" pieces of PVC into the ground in the exact spot the first rod spikes landed and exact spot the last rod spikes landed. This allows you to open / close the netting with ease and without the hassle of pounding in the rods every time you open / close the netting. Also, instead of using the attached strings to close the two ends together, I use a piece of hook and loop (velcro) cable tie straps as it's just easier / quicker. As far as an energizer goes, my personal opinion is do not skimp in this department. I wouldn't use anything less than .50 joule for one section of this netting and would jump up to a 1 joule for any more than one section. Along with packing a bit more of a punch, the extra energy helps keep the netting charged in the event a few weeds come in contact with one of the electrified strands. Premier 1 makes a nice solar charged 1 joule energizer Buy once cry once. All in all, this netting works as designed. I do wish it unraveled out of the box a bit easier but honestly, it could have been user error. I also would like to see this netting in green instead of orange.

Worth it, just worth it.
I held off for close to 7 months before writing this review. I bought one to start and was impressed with the kit. After about two weeks I ordered another one and was still impressed. After another three weeks I ordered another one. I have bee moving my cow and goats around 15 acres now almost an acre at a time. It's a very easy system to use, and has stood up very well to the weather and being moved around so much.I added photos of some things (very few) that have broken. However; given how much abuse and movement this product gets that is an excepted amount of wear & tear. The kit comes with plenty of extras to make repairs etc. The repairs are simple and fast as well.West texas gets dry and the clay ground has given those steaks a run for their money. We use a rubber mallot to pound then in and they just keep going. For the easy of use, flexibility, durability, and the price. I will keep buying this product as long as it is available to buy.The other reviews below 5 stars do not make sense to me or they just don't understand how this product works and lack experience or common knowledge how to work with it.I do high concentration grazing with mixed herd animals and I move them about every 1.5 weeks. I wouldn't do it without this product. To the seller/manufacturer the only improvement I would make is to offer new steak kits so you can change them out when they break to help keep the kit the same and/or add more steaks when on uneven ground where the net sags over those odd transitions. The high winds also stretch the net out and being able to buy more steaks would help mange that over time.
