Old Modern Handicrafts San Felipe Medium Model Ship - Fully Assembled Ship Model for Home and Office

The ship is more than I had hoped for - and this based upon other 5 Star ratings. It arrived in perfect condition due to the excellent packaging. A wood crate surrounded by styrofoam and cardboard is the best shipping parcel I've ever received - and I have received hundreds. The certificate of authenticity estimates 190 hours of build time. For me, that would have been 3-4 times that number. Plank on frame construction is beyond my abilities. The price made it a real deal because I would have been working for less than a $1 / hr, and the workmanship would be nowhere what Francisco, the master builder, achieved. The San Felipe now sits proudly on a shelf next to the framed certificate of authenticity and completes the home office upgrade I started last year. Simply stunning in both detail and craftsmanship

Packaged in a sturdy crate in a box it came quickly and damage free. Bow was a little torn but the ship was perfect and tied down in the crate. Beautiful detail real metal pieces and so much fun to show off. Friends and family love it. Incredible value for the money. I love this purchase.

Amazingly ornate and detailed! This is my fourth model ship. I have the 37" version of the Sovereign of the Seas which is of course larger than this version of the San Felipe (same size exists for this one too), yet with both of them you truly can sit and examine them for long periods of time, wondering at the mind-blowing craftsmanship. I will place this on a display table along with a beautiful clock I recently purchased soon for all to see!

When this ship model first arrived the box took some damage. A few pretty deep gashes. I could see inside past the foam. I was like Great, now this 500 dollar model is going to be damaged and it's probably going to be hell trying to return it. But I opened the box and to my surprise they shipped it in a sturdy wooden cage with foam padding between the cage and the model so keep it from getting damaged. Thank you modern handcrafts.

This ship is gorgeous! There is so much intricate detail it is amazing. It was worth every penny just to see the look on my son's face when he opened the large box and saw what it was. The only downside was the box it was shipped in basically gave away what was inside. Luckily, he had just left the house before it arrived. It really is beautiful!
