These are not the best lefty scissors. They will hurt your hand

My child likes to have all 4 fingers in the hole. She can not fit them all in these. I wish there were more blunt edge left handed scissors for school use.

My daughter loves these scissors, and unlike so many that claim to be for lefties, these actually have the blades "reversed" correctly so a lefty can see where they are cutting. She's in Jr. High now and needed something a little sharper and bigger than the lefty scissors I've bought for her in elementary school. It took a while to find a pair that really had the blades correct. These are the ones you want.

I ordered these for my 8yo because he said his child-size scissors were getting too small for his hands. These scissors do indeed have longer, pointier blades, but the handles are about the same size as his kindergarten scissors.

My lefty kiddo has atrocious cutting skills with right handed scissors. She started 3rd grade this year & was in need of an upgraded, "big kid" pair of lefties. These work great!

Remember those awful rubber-handled scissors they had for us left-handed kids back in the olden days? They were so bad, that I learned to use the regular scissors. My son, a true lefty, couldn't manage it. These are a wonderful set!! They fit well in the hand, are easy to identify due to the color, and are long enough so they don't stand out as odd. I'm so glad they sell them in pairs! We keep one set at home. The other set travels with him back and forth to school. They are very good quality. I'm confident they'll last a good long while.

We had to return these because they were too small and uncomfortable for my 11 year old to hold.
