If you know what you are doing and know how to use these pins correctly, then I highly recommend these. Have been using it for more than a month in some drop sets and they work like a charm. I suggest you to keep an eye on these while using it, because they fly away when you drop the weight.

It too a minute to learn how this works but it’s a great idea and design. I’ve improved my workout with dropsets.

These work absolutely amazing. They are super tough! I would recommend these to anyone who does drop sets on a consistent basis, they are awesome!

They could be built a little better but they are holding up nicely. I think they will be fine as long at the gym has rubber or carpet. They make drop sets much faster. The more you have the more fast drops you can do.

Absolutely love the Performance Pins. Use them during every workout. I will also add that you take the manufacturer serious when they say you should make sure there is enough clearance between the weight stack and the pulley system. I thought I had it measured correctly but during the first rep of the set I felt a very disturbing crunching feeling and knew immediately what happened. I am a Snap fitness member and all the Matrix equipment seems to have enough clearance but some of the Cybex do not. Luckily the important parts of the pins were salvageable and I was able to rebuild it. I give the product 5 stars because the ingeniously simple design that works as it it intended. My only negative is the price point. For something that only cost a few dollars to build (which I know because I have built my own version) I would think they could drop the price and sell allot more.6/25/15 Update: Didn't realize there was a lifetime warranty with the product. Manufacturer contacted me and offered to replace or send the parts needed to rebuild the broken ones even after I informed them it was not their fault. Parts came in the mail and I was able to restore them to original condition. Really respect a company that stands behind it's product.11/17/2015 - On occasion I have come across weight stacks were you have a hard time inserting the pins. When using these stacks the pins sometimes do not want to release. To correct this you can extend the machine with no pins for the distance of one stack (see pic). This usually corrects the problem. Keep in mind this is not a problem with the pins it's usually a misaligned stack.

These are awesome. They work exactly as described and allow for drop sets without losing tension. I will likely buy a second set for more intense sets. Really a genius design.

I had no idea what these did until someone at the gym showed me and they seriously increase the workout pain so that must be good 🤷🏼‍♀️You keep pushing through when already exhausted on reps and do several more until there’s a burn. 🔥
