This stuff surprised me — in the best way.
I’ve tried plenty of protein powders, and most either taste off or mess with my stomach. Not this one. The flavor is actually really good (I got the chocolate), and it’s super easy on digestion — no bloating or discomfort at all. It’s packed with everything I was looking for: high protein, creatine, BCAAs, and it fits my plant-based lifestyle. I take it before my workouts and definitely feel a boost.Only downside? It’s a really fine powder, so it can get a bit messy when scooping or mixing. But honestly, that’s a small trade-off for how well it works and how good it tastes.Definitely a new go-to for me.

Delicious and feels fortifying
Looking past the beautiful packaging, I was very happy to find that the product within was fantastic for me. Why? I need a lot more protein than I realized and this helps me achieve my nutritional goals without having to eat 7 tons of cooked beans every day. It also isn't going to break my modest budget. I bought the Golden Vanilla, which is delicious. The flavor is soft and creamy with no discernible grainy texture and it blends well with water, oat milk, and homemade and store-bought green smoothies as well as with coffee. All of the ingredients are easy to identify, plant-based (thankfully), and meet my higher protein and reasonably low caloric criteria for a powder supplement. Also of note, this powder is highly digestible and doesn't give me the adverse issues I've had with whey protein and supplements with xylitol. As a fan of SunWarrior products, I like having another vegan option and this Birdman protein powder quickly made its way into a top spot on my favorites list. One last thing. The scoop inside the package is large and has an ample handle. If you're familiar with the scoops that come with powdered supplements, you might have noticed skinny handles which are fine for tiny portions of collagen or creatine but terrible for a hefty scoop of larger portions. The scoop that comes with the Birdman powder is wide, allowing one to get a good grip and scoop powder without much effort. And in trying to make healthy changes in a very busy day, every detail counts. I'm a new fan.

A Great Product Worth Trying
After consuming shakes with Whey Isolate protein for years, I wanted to try something different. Also, since I never tried a protein that comes with creatine, I decided to try Birdman’s Falcon Performance Protein. After trying it for a few days, I can say this will be my go-to post-workout protein.Don’t let the Plant-Based label deter you. The Choco Bronze flavor tastes great mixed with water and/or milk, and is great to add to a smoothie of your liking. A huge positive is the Recovery Blend. I felt an immediate difference consuming this after a tough workout, not feeling any soreness, and even had a boost of energy. I tried another it another day after another tough workout, and it yielded the same results.Another great thing about this protein is that it is free of Soy, Gluten or Dairy, so it’s a great product to try if you have trouble due to a condition or looking to eliminate those from your diet.As far as cons are concerned, there’s only minor ones. First, you will have to mix very well if you want that great taste. Lastly, take great care using the powder, as it can lead to a bit of a mess if you’re not careful. There’s a lot to like with Falcon Performance Protein. It’s a great product that can help build muscle, and your purchase goes toward a great cause. If you’re looking to try something different, you won’t be disappointed.

Not tasty
I really wanted to like this and based on some of reviews, I was hopeful. I tried it exactly how it states on the container; 1 scoop in 12 ounces of non dairy drink. I used water. It was disgusting. I drank it while wincing and almost gagging the whole time. I took a week off to try to forget about the experience then I tried it with milk. It was also disgusting but I drank it without gagging. I went back to the reviews and a couple stated it was better with chocolate milk. That was no better than regular milk. I’m going to finish the container only because I don’t want to waste the money but now I’m mixing a half a scoop of this with a half scoop of another protein powder. The other protein powder actually tastes good. I only bought this one because it included creatine. Not worth it, don’t do it.

Pretty decent.
Taste pretty good and I like all the nutrients that's in the powder, I will say it's a little more gritty than I expected but I'd still buy it again. Deffinetly worth the money. Only down side is it says not to mix with dairy products.

Would Recommend
Got the vanilla one (haven’t tried the chocolate yet) it tastes great and I am thankful for the added aminos. I blame the creatine for minimal tummy rumbles a little bit after eating it but it’s not bad at all and is unobtrusive. I still take extra creatine because I’m not sure how effective it is just having it mixed in. The flavor is smooth and I’ve used it plain, but mostly use it with frozen fruit, my added vitamins, and water post workout. Great for macro counting and good quality. It’s not grainy at all and blends really well. I haven’t tried baking with it yet since it’s more expensive (but definitely worth it) I try to save it for smoothies. It is sweet, but not overly so and can be used by itself if needed. Would recommend to vegan athlete friends.

Read the Label!
Great for casual athletes. However, if you track your proteins, count your Macros, calorie intake, etc. Please read the label. Unfortunately I did not until I realized my progress had seemed to slow down. The label shows 31g of protein HOWEVER the DV sits at 44%. Meaning the ACTUAL bio-available protein is closer to 22g of protein using PDCAA scoring. Overall decent for the flavor and milk alternative. But I wish they didn’t amino spike the protein to show a higher value than it actually has.
