I bought this deodorant because I thought, “Hey, maybe I don’t need to smell like regret after 2 PM.” What I didn’t expect was a spiritual rebirth via coconut oil and shea butter.Native Whole Body Deodorant didn’t just neutralize odor. It neutralized my inner demons.I applied it once—just once—and smelled like a beach vacation on a self-care retreat. 72 hours later, I still smelled like someone who moisturizes regularly and drinks enough water.A raccoon got into my garbage, smelled my shirt, and put it back.A stranger at the gym said, “You smell like someone with a healthy relationship with their parents.”Bonus: It’s aluminum-free, so my armpits no longer feel like they’re starring in a Cold War reenactment. I even used it on my back. Why? Because I could.I’m not saying this deodorant saved my life, but I am saying I now text people back within 10 minutes. Coincidence? I think not.

I really like the coconut/cocoa butter smell, reminds me of a tropical scent. I would advise shoving your nose into your armpit... publicly anyway, but if you did I may understand. (I would still look at you strangely). I have found it to last all day long weather I am indoors and sedentary or out and about with the family on a hot humid day.

I Tried this flavor of the Native Body Wash it's all I use now. The Deodorant is great It's not overwhelming it's just right not to sweet

Goes on smooth lasted all day. Wasn't as vanillally as I expected though.

Product works well and keeps my pit smell at bay during our extreme summer heat. Goes on smooth and doesn't white streak my shirts.

I really like this Native deodorant and that it has natural ingredients. It works very well, even though it isn’t an antiperspirant. I love the coconut smell, too!

This is aluminum free and baking soda free! That means it doesn't actually work. It's a deodorant, not an antiperspirant. It will cover up your stink by masking it with a nice scent for a couple hours, which is basically like not taking a shower for a week and thinking that marinating in body spray will help.I tried this for a week and every single day I had to use baby wipes to clean up and apply antiperspirant instead after about 6 hours because I could smell my own BO. And I'm not, like, a runner or a construction worker. I'm a disabled woman who stays sedentary inside the house with the AC on, and this stuff STILL doesn't work.Body odor is caused by bacteria growth, which is helped along by the sweat clinging to moist, hot areas of skin that don't get much air, like your pits and various crevices. That's why antiperspirant prevents BO - it reduces sweating, which stops smelly bacteria from growing unchecked. Deodorant just covers up the stink with perfume.If it's 95 degrees outside and you insist on wearing your organic natural deodorant, nobody wants to be near you because you stink and they're too polite to tell you.So. This stuff absolutely doesn't prevent BO, just masks it for a very short while. Why did I give it 3 stars and not 0? Because the vanilla coconut scent is heavenly, my favorite on the market. I love it so much that I keep buying this so I can layer it over top of my unscented antiperspirant. (I tried the spray version, it's not the same scent at all, just smells like alcohol.) I also use this in areas that don't really sweat much but still benefit from freshening up, like my inner thighs and under my boobs.And sometimes I put it on my wrists and throat like a roll on perfume because I'm weird like that. It smells amazing. I just wish it actually worked to stop body odor.One other thing. You'll use this up about four times as quickly as you're expecting. It's a very soft, melty solid, and you have to keep pushing more of the product up after just a few swipes. I've gone through two of these so far while using the same antiperspirant stick, and I don't use this everyday. This stuff just goes very quickly.

Native is probably my favorite deodorant for the time being. This particular scent Cucumber and Mint smells SO good! I do notice that during the really hot summer months, I need to reapply once. I have told several people about this. My Mom bought me the Cashmere and Rain body wash for Christmas and it smells AMAZING and has a wonderful lather. I have purchased this brand of deodorant several times now and will be doing it again here very soon.
