GoPro Fusion Camera - Black

360 is just a part of a video, as using After Effects / Premiere Pro you can create extremely innovative videos, as 360 gives you an opportunity to frame you shot however you want. Basic flow is record => stitch on PC (this is not a camera for mobile phone) => export 5.2k for editing => open Premiere Pro, use VR plugin to frame shots using keyframes and viola. You will need at least GTX 1080 / i7 9700k (I have water cooled i9 9900k with all limits turned off (those gives boost up to 60% in AE / PP)) as it will use ~ 80% of GPU / 98% CPU. Definitely not a technology for laptops (TDP is killing even gaming laptops with i9, as it will horribly throttle with some of instructions (actual Wattage use only by my CPU is getting up to 280W, therefore you need to have a very good water cooling system)). 1 minute of 4k PP material takes up to 2-3 minutes, on some weaker machines (not mentioning laptops) it will take up to an hour !!! You need fast, water cooled CPU with all thermal limits off (so you also need a good motherboard which allows to turned off all limits, has great voltage section), at least 8 cores @ 5GHz, 32GB DDR4 is minimum, and minimum GTX 1080 (better 2080 or Titanium). Otherwise you won't be able to use it, unless you're willing to wait a day for rendering 30 minutes 4k output framed from 360 video. Of course you can also use it only for 360, but it seems like a waste of technology.

This GoPro is incredible, the footage you can shoot and it’s 360 camera is amazing. I have taken some brilliant photos and videos from my recent holiday and it’s nice to be able to move your phone or iPad or even laptop to show family and friends all angles. Definitely worth investing

the software does crash a bit in post production but this has the makings of a great 360 camera.

Absolute beast. If you are a vlogger. Know that your content is gonna sky rocket off the roof!! Amazing purchase. Super happy. Only tiny downside is time to stitch footage. But thats gonna happen with any 5.2K 360 footage.

The camera itself is easy to use but the work flow is horrendous , time consuming and you will need a really good computer to do this too, my experience was terrible the desktop software crash every time when u try to render vdo and now the company that developed the software (Kolor) already closed down so not really much of any support available so i returned the camera snd bought gopro hero 8 instead

Tried a few other 360 cameras and this is the best yet.

The big let down of almost all 360 cameras I’ve used has been the user interface or the image stitching. Took the GoPro fusion to the climbing centre last night and the results are impressive. The camera produces great quality high resolution images and the user interface on the GoPro app allows you to make great photos in seconds. Videos are not as convinient to do. But that’s the nature of 5K resolution unfortunately. It’s a well built, well presented camera that produces high quality imagery. The downside is it being nearly £700. If you’re not planning on utilising the spherical shots all the time, the app does allow you to easily crop a retangular image from the larger image. This does increase the versatility of the camera. Without this, the camera would be a very expensive and somewhat impractical gadget.

Absolutely different and unique footage. Editing is not as difficult, but copying and rendering is time consuming. 1min = 3min to copy + 1min to overcapture + 3min to render. The overcapture has to be done and coule get boring if the video is more than 2min, cannot be done while travelling. Battery consuming on camera and phone/device. 32+32GB cards do about 70min recording.

Telecamera di alta qualità e facile da usare! Se non si ha voglia di passare tanto tempo con l’editing basta fare video corti e caricarli sull’app del cellulare e modificarli da lí. Facile da usare e qualità incredibile! Usata sciando e la stabilizzazione è incredibile, è anche caduta e non è successo niente. Buon prodotto per video diversi dagli altri!

Es lo prometido por GoPro...es la mejor cámara de acción con calidad de imagen 4k y 360° de cobertura visual...grabas y te olvidas de controlar lo que estás grabando porque luego en el editor de vídeo puedes coger los ángulos de cámara que quieras como si hubieras hecho la grabación con 10 camaras

Been using this for about a month now. Only thing I don’t like is the fact the lenses are exposed. Always concerned that they are going to be scratched or chipped. Other than that I love it. Small light and captures great video.
