Campbell’s Chunky Chili Mac Soup (18.8 oz.) is one of my go-to “I need food fast” meals. It tastes like a cozy bowl of chili with macaroni—thick, hearty, and actually filling compared to a lot of canned soups. The flavor is savory with that classic chili seasoning, and the pasta holds up well (not mushy if you heat it normally). It has a nice, chunky texture and feels more like a quick meal than just a light soup. I usually eat it as-is, but it’s also great with a sprinkle of shredded cheese or crackers if you want to make it extra comforting. It’s not overly spicy to me—more mild/medium—so it works for most people, but if you’re super sensitive to spice you might notice a little kick. For convenience, taste, and how satisfying it is, this one is an easy pantry staple. Would definitely buy again!

Campbells Chunky Chili Mac Pasta & Beef! A delicious blend of heartwarming beef chili (WITH BEANS), in a tangy tomato base, with beef, diced peppers AND OF COURSE ELBOW MACARONI FOLDED IN! The perfect combination of a delicious, tangy, tomato-ey ground beef(yes there are chunks of ground beef in it), as well as pieces of tomatoes-AND some green peppers. Everything you’d want in a great chili… but there’s MORE! There are actual elbow macaroni tossed in the recipe as well, adding a definite richness to the whole recipe. The spice level, it has a bite and slight burn to it, a little heat, but I prefer a very mild chili- this was probably a medium or moderate, in terms of heat. I’m sure you consular lovers could simply add a few drops of hot sauce, to taste. Its consistency is just a little saucier than most I think, maybe Judy a tiny more “liquidy”, than I’d probably prefer, but overall, not too thin.., just right. I actually spooned severally bites of some plain white asian rice… absolutely delicious by any and all standards. Here’s the specific nutritional info for the Chili Mac with BEEF= 2 servings/can-each is 1 cup servings=200cal/serving, 7g fat(9%), 9g protein (14%), and 790mg sodium or 34%… (that’s pretty high). Definitely healthier choices available out there… Second variety- Chili Mac with HOT DOG PIECES= 2 servings per can, 1cup per serving-180 cals/serving, 5g fat (6%), 20mg cholesterol (7%), 790mg sodium(34%), 25g carbs(9%), and 9g (15%) protein. Seems like the hot dog variety is perhaps a slightly “healthier” and maybe a little better choice than the traditional beef variety, but not by much difference; the sodium levels in both are significantly high… consider Campbells lower sodium line for a healthier choice.

I keep a few cans of this in my pantry for nights when I need something warm and satisfying without fuss. I like to sauté little onion and sliced mushrooms, stir them in, and top the bowl with a handful of shredded cheese. Those simple additions make it feel homemade and richer. The pasta and beans hold up well, and the savory, slightly spicy tomato broth hits the spot after a long day. It’s not gourmet and the sodium is high, but for busy evenings this is my cozy, reliable go to.

This taste real good it does taste like chili. Enjoyed it. It’s a perfect size. Good quality heats up very well. Nice ingredients and does have quite a bit of meat.
