Works like it should

Worked on two used metal cabinets that I bought for my shop to warehouse tools to avoid getting them dirty. The locks work perfectly. If replacing and existing cabinet lock, look closely at the existing lock. It may have a different style arm OR the arm may be the same style BUT the length of the arm is a different size. 5-star on the lock/key and quality. Priced good as well

These locks are simple to set and work as replacements for the standard locks in the type. They can installed easily. They will stop the honest person from getting into your stuff, but with some leverage break or bend with ease.

When I ordered this item it was priced at $21.99. At the time of this review this item was priced at $39.99.The package included 6 piece 5/8" cabinet locks with a pair of keys. These ZINC locks shouldn't rust and will maintain their appearance for years.They can replace cabinet locks - toolbox, file cabinet, security lock box, etc.I was able to replace the existing lock on a file cabinet and security lock box.I installed a NEW lock on a desk drawer. I recommend creating an "Installation Template". This will help facilitate installation.

You may not realize it, but most RV trailers and Class C motorhomes use the same lock on their garage storage areas. I decided to change mine out and decided to give these locks a try.There are 6 locks in the package, and they go on pretty easy - maybe 5 to 7 minutes each lock to trade out, give or take. I have 5 garage storage doors and overall it took about 30 minutes to switch out.The locks are well made and as nice, if not nicer, than the locks that were already on my rig. All 6 locks are keyed the same and seem as strong as what I had already. AND, my locks don't match my neighbor's locks like before.Just check your door thickness before you purchase, or you won't be a happy camper - so to speak. Doors come in two basic thicknesses, and you want these at least 1/8" thicker than the door width to allow the inside bolt head to attach.These are high quality, seem to be well made, fairly strong and easy to install. I recommend!

Another product from China that craps out easily.

These locks fit perfectly in my neighborhood sign box. They are small and I'm sure they could be picked if someone really tried, but we mostly need them to keep our sign box closed and safe from the wind. The locks were easy to install. I popped them in myself in about 5 minutes. I like that this set came with so many and that all of the keys worked for the locks. This made everyone on my team able to access the box when they needed to.
