Hi and thanks for your question. The cover will fit the board, however, you may need to use cover fasteners to help adjust the width to fit the board snug. The covers are made for slightly wider boards. You will have some more hanging underneath around the edges but this could be easily tucked under the board better with some fasteners. Q: how do i return it for a refund , purchased 4 months ago, fell apart on first wash

I'm not sure about a refund if you happened to wash it the wrong way. It's not supposed to fall apart if washed on a gentle cycle and line dry. You'd have to get in touch with the company and find out.
