This tool is fantastic. I trim all of the garden bushes with it. The quality is excellent, with great cutting power for its intended purpose. With a 4 amp battery, this lasts a very long time.

Love my grass cutter...easy to use. My only problem was that I forgot to order the battery and charger at the same time!...so, after realizing how dumb I was, I actually use it like a pro! Saves me lots of time and energy. The reviews really helped me decide which product to buy. I have gardens that need constant edging. Works beautifully!

This thing is awesome ! Although it doesn’t come with the battery , it is a wonderful trimmer !!! Great to have around the yard . We just planted a lot of small flowers and bushes , an works so fast at cutting down the grass around without fear like using the big trimmer.

These are VERY large. Will not get into small spaces or tight corners In the yard. It really cant reach Into any spaces my whipper cant. Nice product just not practical. Not sure what I’ll ever use it for.

WE use the trimmer for basic small area trimming or some edge trimming in the yard.It's easy to use, the battery is very good, and recharges quickly.It does what all trimmers should do but is better than others, but it is pricey just to trim small areas.That said, you will spend a lot on on a succession of crummy competitive trimmers and wish you had just accepted the price of quality to begin with.

Bought this last year to trim the grass beside the deck of a swimming pool. The first one I ordered failed within 20 LF of cutting...The second one, (almost) lasted around a 16x30 pool... one time.It wasn't like I was trimming jungle... just the tops of sparse Bermuda grass and Johnson weeds right next to the pool deck.I own multiple (MULTIPLE) Makita 18v tools...This one?....MAKITA, YOU CAN DO BETTER! Either get out of the lawn care business or make these shears up to the quality of your other 18v cordless woodworking tools.PS...the first one I returned?Amazon gets an A+ on that! :-)

I recently ripped my whole lawn out to put in a yarden (yard garden), but kept a tiny patch of grass for my old as dirt chihuahua to potty on. Well you can't mow tiny spot of grass with a lawn mower, so these grass shears was the plan. Was pretty skeptical if it would work well enough, but after a couple weeks of trimming my 3x3 space and I've donated my larger lawn tools to my brother-in-law

This product has saved a great deal of time. It is easy to use and light weight enough for me to use without getting arm fatigue.
