Perfect for viewing trichomes. This is the only thing you'll ever need for the job, don't waste your money on other stuff. I've tried all the new scam products out there over the years for checking trichs, and this is by far the simplest, cheapest, and best out of them all. Easy to clean, who cares if you step on it and it breaks, pure simple functionality.

This is a great product. It’s compact, works perfectly, handles easily, and it has a nice bag/case so you can toss it in a pocket or purse to take with you. The light is strong and makes it easy to identify marks on jewelry, etc. In addition to the great product, they have excellent, responsive customer service. I had some trouble with the battery compartment and when I contacted the seller seeking help, he immediately offered me a new unit and within a few days I had a new loupe with a working battery compartment. Don’t hesitate to order this product if you’re on the fence- you won’t be sorry.

I purchased this to examine knife edges during sharpening. I find the 60X to be amost useless, but the 30X magnifier is plenty powerful enough for the task. So I'm basically satisfied with its performance; I don't observe any distortion. I find the LED lights to be essential: The loupe must be held so close to the item being examined that an alternative light source would be difficult to properly position. But the built in LEDs provide plenty of illumination. Not sure how long the batteries will last. The unit appears to be of quality construction. And the optics are well protected by the cover when not in use. Overall I'm quite satisfied with this economical loupe.

Simple: It makes tiny things visible. 5 Stars. I bought this to check for fake magic cards and it works wonderfully. The 60x lens and light make it possible to perform the T and Red dot tests quickly. Attached photo taken with the loupe and my iphone on 3x which gives a very good 1:1 what you see when you look into the loupe from a distance of about a foot and a half (though still not as blurry as this pic).

Pleasantly surprised!! The light is SUPER bright, but the item works great. The switch slides to which side you’re using the light for.

I purchased this item for a specific purpose which it performed perfectly! The magnification was excellent, also! The 3star rating is due to two things: replacement batteries and the light switch. I have learned quite a lot in my search for the correct button, coin, or flat battery. It is an LR1130 button battery. The problem is all these batteries come in different thicknesses. I put in the new LR1130 batteries (3) after I left the LED lights on overnight. After the new ones were installed, the lights did not come on! I shook the magnifier a little and heard a rattle coming from the battery compartment. After removing the battery cover, I noticed that there was leftover space as the batteries were too thin and couldn’t make proper contact. I have spent several hours searching the internet until finally coming across one whose dimensions seemed right. They are only .01-.05 cents each, but you have to buy the minimum number of 1000 units! Still searching! The other issue was the on/off switch located just below the LED lights, which are very bright. First, it’s a very tiny slider switch, fingernails helpful here, and when you turn on the lights, you get an eyeful of very bright LED’s assaulting your eyes! Other than that this item is worth purchasing, especially when examining trichomes or other tiny objects. It also comes with a handy pouch for storing it and the tiny key to open the battery compartment. The company that makes these could include a spare set of batteries or, at least, provide a source for them.

This Loupe is great. the two magnifier options are perfect for notice different markings or details in any stone, specially with the included lighting. The smaller loupe also allows you to see the serial number of a stone.

At first, I thought it was a scam, but I severely assessed the product. It works very well, functions as expected, and magnifies adequately. The light is a top-value asset for this professional tool. I have used it for two days now in a professional context, authenticating extremely fine print, simply invisible to the naked eye, with incredible ease of use and a clear view of what I need to see and analyze all day. The only thing I would say is I hope someone hears my input and modifies the design a little bit. The swivel motion has no arresting mechanism; it swivels around incessantly. I deal well with this because I don't mind. It hangs in the open position from a strap hanging on my chest from my neck. I push it back in, but most of the time, it stays in place on its own in a somewhat miraculous and unexplainable fashion. But the light button is in the worst place; it should be in the front, not the back. This little detail is impractical and uselessly puts stress on your fingers, and it often occurs that you push it past the "off" position, which is in the middle of the switch's travel path.
