CATCaterpillar Men's Framework St S3 Wr HRO SRA Industrial Boot, 7 UK

I bought these to replace a large pair of safety boots that are far too hot for the warmer months. Having had Cat safety trainers in the past, I know that they tend to be a good 'fit' for my feet.The good things: these look smart, they fit comfortably, they grip well (even on wet, metallic surfaces) & they aren't too hot. Only down side is that they are a bit heavier than I expected (I think they have steel toecaps, rather than composite ones).Overall, I'm happy with them. I just wish my work would supply safety footwear that fitted me & were comfy - it's just the cheapest ones & they don't agree with my feet at all!I've changed my review from 4 stars to 5 - after wearing them for a few days, these boots are ever more comfortable - even the weight doesn't bother me. They keep your feet reasonably cool (unlike my previous boots....) & are comfy enough to walk about in all day.In short, I'd quite happily buy these boots again, they are worth every penny!Just to add another good point - they are extremely well made & long lasting! I use them at work all the time, it's now Jan 2021 and they are still going strong & just as good👍, which is excellent - walking trainers usually only last about 6 months or so with me, these are close to 2 years old & still in great condition.As an additional note - it's March 2021 & although my boots are still perfectly wearable (some very slight wear around the external toe protection - which hasn't comprised the boots structure at all), I like them so much that I've just bought another pair, which will be kept until my original pair fall apart (which looks like it will be a while yet....)!It's now August 2024 & I've just purchased my 3rd pair of these boots - got a good 2 years of hard wearing out of the last pair. Still haven't found anything that's as good yet!

From day one these boots were very comfortable.Probably the best safety boots I have had in the last 30 years

I wore these boots for 4/5 days outside in slightly wet conditions & the boots are supposed to be waterproof they are not waterproof as I had wet feet while wearing them....

I’ll update this review if anything changes or if I think anything I experience is worth knowing.Out of the box I felt that the quality looked pretty decent, the only issue I have that may be important to you is that they don’t look very cool, I bought these because I needed black boots for work and I couldn’t get any Dewalt in my size. They look fine, just not my regular style.I put them on to wear around the house in order to break them in on my day off but, I have to say, they needed no breaking in at all…these are incredibly comfortable. I sometimes find some safety boots too tight near the toe, but these are wide enough for me.Having only walked around the house I obviously can’t currently speak to the long term comfort or how long they last, but they seem fine to me.I think, for the money, they should look a bit cooler, otherwise they’ll do for me.

Ultra impressed with these. I've recently started working on construction sites and needed a pair of good boots as part of my personal protection equipment. My feet are a size 8, and I was advised to purchase a size 9. It turned out to be a mistake, those were too big. So I returned those and purchased a size 8. I'd say these still feel a little big to me, but maybe a size 7 would be pushing my luck and those would be too tight ? I don't know. I will say that these boots feel a little wide to me.Having said all of that, my first impressions on wearing these on the first day of being on site was that they are fantastic.I am used to wearing boots for trekking and these were so comfortable, no blisters, no aches, ultra, ultra comfortable, so much so that I believe they could double up as trekking boots for hill walking etc.They also look fairly stylish so they look totally cool when wearing jeans. I could wear these at a weekend everyday boot and not feel out of place.The price also was exceptional - seriously, if you're going to buy a pair of trekking boots for hill walking, I'd seriously consider these instead, they make for a much cheaper alternative.PS - I felt very confident on site and the grip of the rubber underneath is ABSOLUTELY EXCEPTIONAL (like nothing I have ever experienced before - ultra, ultra grippy).

They fit good - I usually wear size 8 or 8.5 so at first I couldn't decide whether to go for an 8 or 9 as half sizes are not available. I took a gamble on 8 and they fit well, leaving a nice amount of space wearing thick socks with them. When first taking them out of the box they felt quite heavy but once on they didn't feel weighty at all. They are solid, comfortable, grip well in the rain, and are waterproof. I've only had them a few days however I'm fairly positive they'll see me well for a while to come.

I struggle to find other boots that fit, but CAT boots are always good.

Comfortable boots but only lasted 4 months at work, sole is wore out and letting in water. Disappointed
