Great sound

I have found this to be quite a good CD player with good sound, I have only given it 4 stars because the aerial supplied is useless for Dab radio, I have purchased another aerial and it is crystal clear, why couldn’t the makers supply a decent aerial in the first place?.

VERY GOOD ALL ROUND LOVELY STEREO

This arrived today. I was very disappointed to say the least. As noted in another review on some CDs this thing skipped the end of the songs. Why make it do that Sharp? Have you tested the thing? Seems not. Hopeless. I only bought it to play CDs so that was this thing being returned right there. The sound is not good either. The default equaliser mode was flat, and it was quite literally that. Like a set of headphones playing on loud in an old tin box. Flicking through the other equaliser modes made some improvement (on dance mode no less, when I am listening to speed, thrash and death metal; go figure) but it still had a tinny, muted overtone. Like a pillow is resting on top of it, covering the speakers. The display also goes dark in no time. I presume this is an energy saving feature but hey Sharp it means you can't see the display. The quick start instructions come in seemingly every language on Earth but English. As for some other set-ups out there there is a USB port. But it's at the back of it. No use if you use USB and have the stereo on a shelf or against a wall. The headphone socket is on the front so they got that right at least. I never got as far as testing Bluetooth. If you want to guarantee hearing all of your cherished CD music start to finish and want a sound with any depth to it then avoid. I'm returning it straight away. Now back to my so far hopeless search for a stereo that actually works.

I was not happy with this at all, I found the sound quality poor but I suppose I'm stuck with it now.

Good sound quality but the little piece of wire supplied as an "aerial" is useless. I could only receive three FM stations and no DAB stations at all. I had a roof mounted DAB aerial installed which has solved the problem but that cost £115. My old DAB radio had no issues like this.

Il sistema è compatto e ha buone possibilità di equalizzazione. La radio Dab+ funziona bene, e si possono caricare file a mp3 tramite chiavetta. Un’ottima scelta per un secondo stereo, per camera figli, per casa in campagna, per qualsiasi location dove non si possano voglia disporre di uno stereo. Sharp produce compatti da mezzo secolo, e l’esperienza si vede!

Fonctionne parfaitement avec un son de très bonne qualité !
