We now have two 2-month old kittens - that are adorable! But as all babies go, they're into everything. The last thing I want them on is the dinner table. I keep a tablecloth on the table with placemats, napkins and salt/pepper shakers in the middle. One of the babies likes to jump up and hang from a corner of the tablecloth or climb up from a chair, so I purchased this gun/pompom set to shoot them when they do a misdeed. It arrived yesterday - I was so excited!!! Had to try it out. Sure enough they were running around the dining room, perfect opportunity to try my new corrective action employer. Put the ball in the nozzle, pull back the clip, aim and shoot! The balls are soft enough to bounce off anything without damage, they are round enough to keep on rolling when they hit the floor and light enough for the babies to bat around and/or carry in their mouths to another area. I foresee those little round balls being all over the house. I may have to order more balls for it. ;) Love it. So do the cats.

Leave out the shooter, it never works (would be awesome if it did) but I CANNOT KEEP MY CAT STOCKED IN FUZZY BALLS! This will be my 7TH Order since February, would be more but our kitten, Scout, didn't fully invest herself until April in the FUZZY BALLS!Scout is from a feral colony and since she got addicted to the fuzzy balls, her interaction with us and the other cats has increased positively and dramatically! She comes to me all day and night, looking for another ball. We tried "recycling" them, by putting "old" ones back in the drawer and throwing them again. That doesn't' fly. Scout KNOWS.I am grateful my husband adores her cause he has said buy all the balls she wants lol so springing for 3 packages in one order now. So that's 270 balls. Having the cutest little furry soccer player in the world smiling = priceless. Can't get a photo with her playing with them cause she moves too fast but she knows how to politely wait!!

This works pretty good, can only shoot one little fluff ball at a time and makes a sort snapping noise. My 9 year old cat is terrified of it and acts like we are throwing boulders at him. He runs and hides under the bed. He is often frightened by noises he isn't familiar with so your cat may be fine with it.

Slight learning curve, then fun! Important to let cats know it is play time. The launcher clicks and catches their attention, and they are unsure if it is good or bad. Once they knew it was a toy they play along. I had to figure it out and that took me maybe 5-10 minutes to get it down. The pom poms launch across a bedroom easily or smaller living room. The bourgeois may need an ultra launcher. I use this when the cats are already feeling playful, not at rest. I ordered extra pom poms because they take them and they disappear. Probably with the sock from the dryer. I wait until the cats aren't looking right at me but know the item is out, humming mission impossible, and bounce a few off their rumps or near the wall right by them. I read that cats like to be able to catch their prey so found this toy and suspect they have buried the pom poms to mimic their wild hunt. This is what dull people do when no one is home. I don't have a banana available for photo.

They LOVE it! Great exercise. My only concern would be if your cat likes to eat the balls because they are small. The gun may not last if you pull the tab back to roughly, so be careful. But other than that…..it’s fun for the cats and the humans.

Gun works very poorly. Toy balls are a hit but so small they get caught in the vacuum too easily

Why did you pick this product vs others?:My cat loves chasing after these! Wish there was more range but for its price it’s a fun toy. Please supervise and retrieve any balls when done playing. My cat likes to eat them if left alone

My cat loves this i do too so it’s a win win.. shooting the balls and watching him in total confusion and curiosity of hilarious
