Amazing for starting blacksmiths
Love this thing. Only thing I had to do was add the flame mortar inside of it. I have well over 10 blades made in this thing, and it's still going. Super easy to put together. Holds head well. And it's long enough to fit an entire 18" blade from tip to end of tang. Amazing bang for your buck. Perfect for starting Blacksmiths!

Incredible. My son is obsessed. Absolutely lives up to it reputation. Wouldn’t buy any other make.

It is great for small things if don't need to be to hot
It is nice for small things and works well but you have to put a brick up to it if you want to get it very hot. it's built quite well and I suggest that you add refractory cement for longer lasting and higher heat. It's also suggested that you take the burners out after you use it so that it don't melt the hoses .

Yes! Make something! Need mortar for the kaowool
Really great. Just rigidize, and coat with satanite 2x. Make the satanite like slip (clay technique, look it up) and coat the tough to reach spots with a smaller paint brush, and or paint the whole thing in thin coats. Don’t overthink mixing the mortar just add a little water, mix and examine for smoothness. Mix well and dab on with a brush or use gloved hands. Good luck. Rush version: paint a coat of satanite, dry with hair dryer 10 minutes, fire with propane until solid. Step 2 Repair cracked parts from rushing. (This how I did it and in 3rd coat is now perfect). You can add plistix ( or another infrared reflecting coating on top for the best efficiency and heat). Good luck!

Very pleasantly surprised!
First off, I gave it a five-star rating because of the price. Are there "better" forges available? Undoubtedly; but they will cost a LOT more than this Nelyrho. I usually use a vintage coal burner, but needed something portable and handy for demonstrations and training Scouts. This guy fits the bill! I did several applications of ridgizer and then multiple thin coats of refractory cement. Noting that it had no "chokes" for the burners, I fabricated a couple using copper tubing - TOTALLY unnecessary. The burners fairly roar - and generate plenty of heat. A possible improvement might be valve for at least one burner for the times you need to heat a small piece; I may end up adding them to both. As an aside, I happened to have a Camp Chef Portable Dutch Oven Table on hand. Without the wind shield it makes a perfect stand, and is also available on Amazon.

Not horrible but not great. Potentially dangerous
The main body of the forge seems small, but otherwise seems to be constructed well. The burners seem fine, but I will have to create a choke so the flame can be dialed in better. The main issue is the regulator is complete garbage. The main body of the regulator leaks and it caught on fire. You can buy a high pressure regulator fairly inexpensively, so I'll just pick one up and call it good. This isn't a horrible product, but it could be a lot better.

works well I have been using it for a few months now and no problems. just remember to get some refractory cement you don't want to be breathing in those fibres. I haven't tried to get it to forge welding temps yet but I think it is possible.

Worked well for shoeing horses. I was pleasantly surprised when I put in the shoes that it did its job well compared to a farrier’s forge which would cost over $1000.00

Purchased this as my first forge, and it has worked out quite well. One thing that was told to me by another person who purchased the same one is that you must remove the propane inlet when finished using or the heat will melt the hosing that brings propane into the unit.
