Very good value for money.
I probably spent up to two months looking for a dash cam for my limited budget of around $100. I added several camera options to my shopping cart and after serious evaluation this dash cam was the one I found as my best option. - Positive features... 1. Massive amount of positive reviews. I have probably read more than a 100. 2. Very good features. 3. GPS tracking. 4. Parking surveillance, video OR stills. 5. Front & rear cams. 6. 4K front, 1080P rear. 7. 256 MB memory card accepted by the camera. 8. Very fair price compared to other brands with similar feautures. 9. WiFi for settings ease of use via the phone. 10. Ability to transfer recorded videos via WiFi to the phone. - 1. The manual states not to buy Sandisk memory cards, only buy memory cards from FokuWay or Samsung. I did not see this information at Amazon. As I didn't know this, I bought the 256MB Sandisk card because Sandisk has a reputation of being one of the best brands in the world. Inserted in the camera my 256MB Sandisk card was not recognized by the camera and I could not reach the Camera Menu (in camera) to Format my Sandisk Memory Card. - But I could reach/find the Format menu on my iPhone via the WiFi menu option. :-) Problem solved. I could format the Sandisk card in the camera from my iPhone via the WiFi App and it all worked out very well and all is now set to go. :-) While in use - remember to format the memory card IN CAMERA once a week to keep it clean from clutter and junk. 2. The installation was easy. Read the instruction manual, it is very good. Follow the installation instructions provided. Find the best location on your window, make sure the camera is horisontal, give it a slight press and it's done. I have a vehicle with an almost vertical windshield, a 2022 Gen4 Suzuki Jimny. My fear was that the camera wouldn't cope with the vertical front window. I was wrong, but just barely. To cope with my vertical front window I had to attach the camera at the very top (but not too high) of the front window, providing space for cables as well as detachement of the window mounting bracket. 3. It was the same with the rear camera. The rear window is so vertical the rear camera has difficulties adopting to the angle. But as I was rear-ended by a woman in a Mercedes less than a week after taking delivery of my new car I wanted a rear camera as well. (I found no visible damage to my car but I saw a very damaged hood on her Merc. I checked our mutual damage and as I saw way more on her's and non on mine I drove off leaving her to her troubles...) From now on, in case I get rear-ended again, I will have a video recording of the event. 4. Performance The camera adjusts itself automatically to the current lighting conditions and I find the video quality as good as expected and good enough for my needs. In the days to come I will explore this little marvel of device and will update this review if I have new information to share.

Easy install, clear image, great price!
I’ve been researching dashcams for quite a while and finally settled on this one. I’m so happy I did! Compared to others, this one has a much larger screen which makes it easy to see using the live view and also for playback viewing. It has a wide lens so I can see all around the front and back of the car. Both the front and rear camera have a really clear image. It makes it easy to review and pick out small details when needed after an incident or just for fun to review the trip. The night vision is great too. It has a nice sharp view, unlike others which are often grainy at night. The installation was super easy and I’ve had no issues with the connection, which has been imperative for capturing comprehensive video/data while driving. The GPS tracking is a nice touch too! I was able to reference the data to avoid a speeding ticket. It has saved me $$$ already! I also appreciate the voice controls because it allows me to operate it while driving without having to look away from road to control with my hands. I haven’t used this feature yet but just knowing I have the option for 24-hour parking monitoring, provides a nice peace of mind for if I ever have to park outside of my garage overnight. The price point was really fair and I’m really happy with all the features, quality and function of this dashcam. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic dashcam at this price point!
Update, 40 days later: I have to say, I can't recommend this dashcam enough! It's been really great, and I am VERY happy with my purchase. The GPS clock/speedometer screensaver function is fantastic! I didn't know that my speedometer was reading incorrectly until I got this dashcam. I noticed that my GPS speed was consistently 5%-7% lower than what my speedometer was reading. I confirmed my vehicle speed with the GPS on my phone, and lo and behold my speedometer has been wrong all this time. Being that I have access to tuning software for my vehicle, I was able to adjust this in the computer, and now my vehicle speedometer shows the TRUE vehicle speed, which matches the GPS on both my phone and this dashcam. And as mentioned below, having the GPS speed recorded right along with the video data is crucial to proving your innocence in the event something goes sideways. The controls are simple, easy to figure out, and the touchscreen lets you make adjustments easily. Definitely, DEFINITELY get this one! It's absolutely phenomenal! * * * * * Original Review: Fantastic front/rear dashcam with GPS and WiFi. I picked this up specifically for the GPS speed "stamp" feature (and it can also timestamp and location-stamp video as well), and I have been very impressed with it overall. Unlike some cheaper GPS units I've used, this one has very intuitive and easy-to-use menus. The button to save a video is also clearly marked, and even if you forget which one it is in the heat of the moment after an incident, the "caution triangle" printed right above the button makes it obvious. Another very cool feature is that you can set the screensaver mode to either stay on and display the camera view, go to a fully black screen, OR you can set it to show the time and speed. This last feature is one I didn't know I needed until I tried it. It's great! Not only is it reassurance the unit is powered on and recording (in addition to the unobtrusive blinking red light), but it also will confirm if your speedo is correct or not. Turns out, mine was reading a bit low due to a tire size change, and I will adjust it accordingly to match the GPS speed. And the fact that you can set it to record the GPS speed is VERY good in case you ever get a ticket for speeding when you weren't. Instead of a "he said, she said" situation, you can walk in to the courtroom with the recording from a disinterested third party product that will definitively show your actual speed and location, and thus introduce reasonable doubt that the cop may have accidentally got a speed reading from a different vehicle. You walk into court with this, you have some evidence on your side. Without it, they're just going to believe whatever the cop says. And if you don't want to use the screensaver, you keep the screen showing a live view of what the camera sees, which can be set for front facing, rear facing, or both (picture-in-picture style). It's super easy to toggle through the different modes and screensaver styles with a single button. VERY easy to use. Speaking of which, you can set this to record audio too! The microphone is a little tinny sounding, but speech is audible and understandable. So you have protection in the form of recording exactly what is said and by whom in the event of a traffic stop. Or if your privacy is more important, you can mute the mic and record video only. It came with its own memory card, so it was ready to go right out of the box. I also purchased the hardwire kit, which I would highly recommend. For what it's worth, it's just a standard USB-C power cable, so don't feel like you have to get the higher priced "kit" like I did; you can save a few bucks by buying this dashcam and the same brand (Focuway) hardwire kit separately. The "kit" isn't a pre-packaged kit, they just send you the dashcam and a hardwire kit, so you might as well save the $10 or $20 and add both to your cart separately. But I would recommend buying the official Focuway hardwire setup, as it provides a higher wattage than a standard -C charger to make sure the camera is powered properly. It also comes with a bag of two each of the different size fuse taps, so installation is a breeze. And when you consider that fuse taps cost almost $10 each at the 'Zone, the hardwire setup is quite a value. It even includes fuses! Just find a constant on fuse, a keyed power fuse, a good ground, and that's all it takes. The dashcam mounts to the windshield with a transparent "screensaver" type cling decal, and the cam sticks to that with 3M tape. It's secure enough that it survived a 1000 mile round trip from SE Arizona to Las Vegas, and it's still very solid. I'm not worried about it falling off anytime soon. The front cam came with an extra adhesive mount in case you screw up the first attempt, and there were (I think) four of the cling decals. The rear camera was a little more difficult to install, as I put it in a Suburban. I wanted a professional level install, and in order to mount it to the rear glass I would have had a bunch of loose wire hanging to give enough slack needed to open the liftgate, and I didn't want to have wires just hanging like that. I ended up mounting the camera to the interior trim just inside the top of the liftgate. This worked well for me, but I didn't figure it out until I had wrecked the 3M mounting tape, and the rear camera did NOT come with any extra. Luckily, the camera mount has a tab where you can drill a hole or two and secure it with screws, which is what I did. Obviously this will be less of an issue with sedans or pickups that don't have a liftgate, but be aware either way. The rear camera does detach from the rest of the generously long wire with a 4-pin plug a few inches from the camera, so you should have no trouble routing the cable from the main unit to the rear camera. It would have put this unit completely over the top if they had somehow included a "coiled" springy cable that could be installed between the camera and the 4-pin connector to the rest of the cable. That would have allowed as flexible connection for liftgates without ugly wires just hanging. But if that's my only gripe, then I suppose that's not too bad. Also, the installation instructions say to make sure you are installing the rear camera in a certain way, or the image could be inverted. Don't worry about that, as the dashcam has a menu option to "invert" the image if you install it the wrong way. So don't worry, and just mount it however it works best. The camera also can swivel up and down and has little detents to keep it from vibrating around. This is going to be extra nice for hooking up trailers, as now I can use this as a "backup camera" by popping the liftgate, and aiming the camera down at the trailer hitch. A very nice fringe benefit. The WiFi option is also a really cool feature that I didn't know I needed. Instead of having to pull the memory card to transfer video, you can pull it up on your phone. This would be great in the event of an accident, where you could just pull out your phone and play back the video for the cops without having to rely on the tiny screen of the dashcam. You can also then use your phone as an alternate rearview mirror, in the case that you are carrying cargo that obstructs your regular mirror. Overall, it captures great quality video both front and rear, captures audio to CYA, and preserves your privacy by not having an interior camera. This is the third dashcam I've owned, and it's the best I've used so far. Highly recommended!

This dashcam so far seems to be great quality seems very solid and the front camera is very good video quality.and the rear camera is very good quality it's nice and compact for the rear glass and the process of mounting and routing the wire was very easy and setup was super easy and started recording instantly. The voice command is very nice to have. And downloading the app and getting my phone connected to the dash cam for the app was a very easy process. And I had to contact the seller focuway they messaged me back within 1 day they are amazing to deal with there very helpful and they back there product up. and after you recieve your dashcam and register it they give an extra 1 year warranty which is great. I definitely recommend this dashcam from focuway . This is an update approximately 1 year later the dashcam is working fine the 1 annoying thing about this dash cam is if you want to go through any footage on your phone you have to be very close by the dash cam. And customer service i had contacted them right after purchasing to have so if there was a obd cable available for the 24hr. Surveillance they said they would ship one out i have contacted them multiple times they still haven't shipped one out. So don't expect very honest costumer service from this company..the dash cam itself is good but the app is terrible

This dual-recording dashcam feels really good and is very safe to use in daily life. The front camera shoots 4K and the rear camera shoots 1080P. The picture quality is clear, and the road signs and license plates can be seen clearly. The angle is wide, and the road conditions are clear. The screen is 3.39 inches, the color is bright, and the details are clear when watching the video. You can also see the real-time picture when driving, which is very practical. It is very convenient to use. With 5G WiFi, you can download videos when your phone is connected, and the speed is fast, and you can also share it with friends. There is GPS inside, which records the driving route and speed, which is easy to check afterwards. It can also be voice controlled. You can say "lock video" to save important clips, so you don't have to be distracted when driving, which is safe and convenient. The effect is also good at night, and the license plate can be seen clearly in the dark. The weather was extremely hot during this period, and there was no problem. The quality is good. After installing a 64G card, the old video will be automatically overwritten in the loop recording, and the G sensor will lock the video when it encounters a collision, and it will not be deleted, which is quite smart. The parking mode is also convenient. The rear camera is connected stably and did not drop the line after installation. It is not affected by the hot sun, and the quality is reliable. I don't know if it is the wide-angle lens, but I can record the cars almost side by side in the lane next to me, which is enough.

It’s a cold winter and this camera is holding up fine. From installation to setup on the app was very easy. It took about 30 minutes to install and have all the wires tucked away nicely(still have to tie up the rear camera wire). See my video and pictures. This was installed on our 2014 Infiniti qx60. The size of the camera isn’t bulky like some. Tucks away nicely behind the rear view mirror. Picture quality, wifi connectivity and easy to use functions make this very easy for someone who isn’t tech savvy. Easy to navigate to what you want for settings. This camera is hardwired and has parking mode timers. Auto shut off when batter reaches its threshold so you’re not left with a dead car battery. The low power consumption is also a plus especially in the harsh winter. Overall, a great product and great value for your money. Safeguard yourselves from those reckless drivers out there with a dash camera.

Very nice budget friendly medium sized camera. As it is with all cameras these days the package it arrived in is filled with extra equipment and tools necessary to help with the installation. The power cable and rear camera cable both are decent length and for my car (Honda hrv) installation was a breeze. It records videos as expected with a decent quality (2k and 1024) and taken photos are not bad either. I set it to 2k to save space but you can set it to 4k and 1024 resolution if necessary. The voice command is a very nice feature and will come in handy for sure sometimes. I really like the simplicity of the camera design and usage. You can easily set it up with the buttons directly located on the main camera unit or you can use two different apps Viidure and Okcar on your phone device. Okcar app is better for this camera but both seem to work rather well and internet connection is not required while using both apps for video and photos download. However Google maps will not show your location on the map directly unless you have Internet connection on the connected devices. Also I haven't been able to substitute different offline map but then again I only purchased this DVR recently so I may succeed yet. Its impressive and surprising at the same time because Its rare to come across a dvr camera unit that can utilize multiple apps. It's very handy when you have multiple vehicles and don't have to install many apps on your phone. One app has all cameras listed just switch cars plug and play and off you go. But as always there are some things that I don't like. For instance the camera attachment handle 3m tape forbidds front camera angles from beind adjusted left/right on the fly. It would be kinda of nice to be able to do that without completely ungluing the whole dvr camera unit and while doing so possibly damaging front windshield and/or camera itself during the process. Suction cup would be preferable and better utilized here instead of 3m permanent tape. Also why there is a led power indicator light on the rear camera is beyond my understanding. I know it's low power and technically it shouldn't bother anyone but I think its very useless and annoying. There's is also the issue with missing timed auto off wifi feature. I suppose it can be argued that you can just turn off wifi completely in settings but for me wifi is only used when downloading videos and photos. It would be very convenient if DVR would automatically turned off wifi after certain time when my external device disconnects from it. I guess that's up to the end user to decide but regardless I do personally like this DVR unit.

I purchased this camera in January and installed it shortly thereafter using the recommended Hard Wire Kit (“Dash Cam Hard Wire Kit for FOCUWAY T5/T6/T5PRO/D2 Duo/D4 PRO Model, 4 Meter Dashboard Camera Car Charger Cable Kit 12V–24V to 5V, Power Adapter with LP/Mini/ATO/Micro2 Fuse”). The installation was straightforward, and everything appeared to be set up correctly. Unfortunately, the camera has consistently failed to deliver on its advertised features. My biggest frustration is with the parking mode, which has never worked despite extensive testing. I’ve tried both collision detection and time-lapse recording, but neither has functioned at all. My vehicle has been broken into twice and was once backed into while parked—none of these incidents were captured. Other features have also proven unreliable: Smart Voice Control: Voice commands listed in the manual don’t respond at all. Strangely, casual conversations with passengers have triggered emergency recordings or photo captures, even when nothing resembling a command was said. Accident Detection: While I haven’t experienced a real accident, I’ve tested this feature by braking hard in various settings and adjusting sensitivity levels. It never activates when expected, yet sometimes triggers emergency recording during calm, uneventful drives. While voice control and accident detection would be nice to have, parking mode was the main reason I chose this camera. After multiple incidents with no footage, it’s hard to recommend this product. I considered switching to another model, but the hassle of re-running the rear camera wiring in my SUV made me give this one more chance. I reached out to tech support, hoping the issue might be a software glitch or a faulty G-sensor. Unfortunately, I’ve received no response. In summary: if the features worked as advertised and any form of product support existed, this camera might be worth considering. As it stands, I suggest you keep looking.
