I’ve been using the Atomberg Renesa Smart 1200mm BLDC fan for almost a year now, and overall, I’m quite happy with the purchase. It’s energy-efficient, quiet, and the smart features make daily use very convenient. That being said, I did face one issue after a few months of use—the fan started malfunctioning whenever I switched to speeds 3, 4, or 5. It would shut off and restart continuously until I reduced the speed. I raised a complaint, and to Atomberg’s credit, their service team responded promptly. The technician replaced a part under warranty, and since then the fan has been working fine. I have noticed a short motor grinding noise for a few seconds whenever the fan starts, but it quickly settles and doesn’t affect performance. It’s more of a minor nitpick than a deal-breaker. One drawback I’d like to highlight is with the automation feature. I’ve set routines like turning off my AC at 6 am and turning on the fan at 6:30 am automatically. This works well most days, but if the internet disconnects around that time, the fan “forgets” the schedule and doesn’t execute it. It seems the automation is stored on the server side rather than locally on the fan, which could be improved. Another point worth mentioning: there’s really no such thing as a completely noiseless fan. This model is slightly quieter than normal ceiling fans, but that’s noticeable only at lower speeds. At higher speeds, the noise level is almost the same as a regular fan, since the sound is caused by airflow (wind noise) and not by the motor itself. Lastly, I’d recommend getting the fan installed by Atomberg’s own technicians. Even though you may have to pay a bit extra, it helps avoid any disputes later if you need to claim warranty. Verdict: Despite a few quirks, the fan is reliable, efficient, and modern. With responsive after-sales service, good energy savings, and smart functionality, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a next-generation ceiling fan.

Good low power consuming fan. Power consumption is lesser for lower speed. Nice air flow. Mobile app is another app add on feature, you don't need to look for remote all the time.

12 Aug 2024 3 Fans purchased Chapter 1: 11 Jan 2024 one of the fan started making noise at speed 1. Ticket raised with CC. Immediate response from field technician. Visit done, part replacement ordered under warranty (housing) 19 Jan 2025 part replaced Chapter 2: 24 Jan 2025 same fan same noise started again with high intensity and now on speed 2 also. Ticket raised. Technician called asking who visited last time, will transfer ticket to him as he knows the issue It took good 5 days for the ticket to transfer and techie to come 1 Feb, techie visited and did some hammering and refitting stuff and left saying problem solved. Chapter 3: 2 Feb noise again started So it's trial and error happening 2 Feb written on X 3 Feb got a call from social media team with assurance to resolve by aligning a techie and keeping the technical team standby for a video call troubleshooting. Again parts replacement ordered 18 Feb 2025 All parts replaced except ceiling rod, motherboard & the transparent glass below. Chapter 4: 16 Mar again noise started 25 Mar complained on X 15 Apr Head Office person called & took replacement request 17 Apr 2025 replacement received Informed HO that the product manufactured is of Oct 2024 Already informed that this lot would have this manufacturing defect. But she asked to use and check. Chapter 5: 19 Apr Installment done. Informed the techie that the fan is wobbling a lot. The colour on the edges of the blades is not perfect and seems to worn out. It's not smooth at all. 22 APR techie visit request placed 26 APR techie did not come 27 Apr Techie visited discussed with HO for replacement. 30 Apr replacement received but again of Oct 2024 manufactured. 02 May Called HO and asked them to replace with latest stock or change the color and give latest stock 29 May 2025 replacement of a different product was confirmed by Atomberg. 04 Jun 2025 wrong product delivered. HO & Social Media teams not answering calls. Customer Care has no solution. This is within warranty and less than 1 yr old. You can judge basis this experience inspite of HOs involvement how serious they are with after sales service. Either a Product or Service something should be worth, but both are disappointing.

Nice product with sleek design. High speed and low noise and energy efficient too. As the name suggests, its smart and can be controlled through the app as well. Worth the penny invested.
