Transfer Case Control Module
MY 4WD POSITION QUIT LIGHTING UP ON THE DASH TO LET ME KNOW WHETHER I WAS IN 2WD,4WD HIGH, 4WD LOW, OR NEUTRAL! AFTER REPLACING MY TRANSFER CASE CONTROL MODULE SENSOR EVERYTHING WORKS GREAT AND I CAN SEE IF I’M IN 4WD OR 2WD!

Fit my 2005 Jeep LIberty
Worked well to replace the original switch which lit up the wrong 4wd light on the dash. Installation was easier by removing the center console between the seats. Don't try to replace from under the vehicle.

RTFM- Read the flipping manual
This thing worked like a charm. Be sure to read the little read data from the metallic reddish circle on your transfer case. That will let you know which part you will need. Also, when you go to install, the part is "spring loaded" per se, so be very careful or you could strip out your soft metal grooves on the transfer case.

Worthless!
I should have followed the lead of the other one-star reviews! This switch is defective, as confirmed by the dealer, a common problem with this after-market product. It registers 4WD when it's actually in neutral and doesn't register 4WD when in either high or low. I now have to go through the trouble of removing it and installing a new one, this time an OEM. Don't buy this product. It's a rip-off!
