My intended use of this rail is quite similar to one of the product photos in that I have several small RGB lights and need a portable rig that focuses where the camera is looking, and I'm not using a tripod on all occasions. So, the camera mounts to the middle and I have an RGB light flanking either side via the cold shoe attachments. I do also have a camera cage with additional cold shoe mounts but these leave the camera unbalanced and focus the lights too close to the lens, so for me this rail is fantastic in mitigating those two fairly important issues.

The 1/4 bolts provided aren’t long enough, making this absolutely useless.

the neck of the screws are too small, the screws cannot slide up the plate (though they do in the illustration. Such a pity as the plate looks well machined, I am sending it back but will gladly buy it again with the right screws.

Precis den skena som jag ville ha och den fyller sin funktion till 100%! Har den till min digitala videokamera ihop med en 7 tums monitor. Skenan fixar det utan problem. Den ersätter min förlorade snabbfästsplatta på mitt stativ. Är jättenöjd med produkten!
