My five star review is for the product itself but not so much for scent. The product does in fact leave a long lasting scent. I used both the detergent and conditioner/ softener and I definitely notice my blankets are nice and soft as well as them having a very strong scent. I got the classic scent however I’m not a fan of the scent itself. It smells a lot like an incense shop which I personally don’t like. I’ll be purchasing from the brand again, however I’ll be picking a different scent.

I have used The Laundress products for many years and I love this new scent. I was afraid I wouldn’t like it, but decided to try it anyway, and there is a tropical hint, but it still retains something of the original scent too. I am on my second bottle.Oh, and it cleans your laundry well too. The scent lingers nicely after washing, especially if stored in a closed drawer.

Smells AMAZING! You really do get quite a few uses out of this. I use it mostly for linens and it really lasts.

Made my whites very bright! Decided to splurge mostly because I was curious about the smell. I actually love the scent and my husband even commented on how he likes it too. Once the items are dry the scent is indeed subtle, which actually might be preferable to some. I was shocked when I noticed our white socks seemed particularly “bright” after being washed with this vs. Tide. I wasn’t expecting that. The price point is obviously a downside and I do feel it’s slightly high considering the amount you get and it performance.

This stuff smells SOOOO good. My boyfriend even loves it, too. The only downside is the price point, but that’s the price you pay for the name.It does a pretty good job on the cleaning department as well, but I mainly only do bedding with this detergent due to its price point.The scent lasts for so long as well, I’ll do my comforter and it will keep the smell until it’s next wash at the end of the week.

This is fancy, high quality detergent! The smell is subtle and phenomenal like your on vacation at a fancy resort on the beach. This detergent cleans clothes well and leaves behind a fresh subtle scent. The bottle has a squirt cap that you can either take off or easily squirt the detergent where you need it.

I love this laundry detergent, the scent is amazing. Unfortunately the cap was broken in transit. The product is intact but I have no way to close bottle. Wish there was an option to order a replacement cap.

I LOVE this detergent. It has an awesome aroma and cleans well.However, the price is a bit on the high side and I have to use double the recommended (4 oz).Subtracting a star because of the pricing. It doesn’t bother my sensitive skin. It does have an aroma (heavenly) that might be a problem for people sensitive to fragrances.I do a lot of laundry and can’t justify over $80 for a gallon of detergent.Our water is very hard here and it takes more than 2 oz for a standard load.They don’t give a measuring cup. You could use one from another detergent.For the price, they should provide a measuring cup. Forget the squirt thing because they break!If the price were lowered to the high end of most detergents, I’d stock up on it. If they keep it in the $80 range for a gallon, I might buy a small bottle for special uses. I mean, who’d have ever thought that laundry detergent would be over $80 for a big jug?Love it and wish I didn’t. I’d love to hate it…
