Bluetooth 5.4 Adapter

Very pleased with the quality and design of this bluetooth adaptor. I'm not an audiophile so I can't speak to the quality of music but for listening to podcasts/audiobooks in the car I have no complaints with the sound. Also I've used it on phone calls and no one seems to complain about the mic, even though due to the location of my car's auxiliar port the device is not very close to my mouth.The buttons are intuitive and big enough to adjust without looking away from the road. I especially like how the power turns on with a simple press - not need to sit around holding a button for 3-5 seconds when you just want to get on the road. Battery gauge is very useful so you know when to charge the device BEFORE you're on the highway and unable to mess with cables.

Battery life is outstanding. I received this item on 31 December. When I turned it on out of the box it was showing 100% battery life. Two weeks later after about 10 hours of usage in between that time, it was only down to 70% battery life. I started charging it and it went from 70% to 90% charge in about 10 minutes. A little longer to get back to 100%. Bass boost really sounds good. I leave it on constantly. My last device, which I loved so much, would max out on volume on a few low volume songs that I could not get quite as loud as I wanted. I wouldn't dare max out volume on this device. It can go extremely loud. The device buttons feel solid. This device would be perfect in my opinion if the volume up and down buttons were on the upper and lower portion of the button toggle. Unfortunately, those positions has the power on button in the upper position and pause/play in the lower position. My last device had the volume controls on the upper and lower portion of the toggle and skip forward and skip back on the front and aft part of the toggle. That type of orientation seems perfectly natural. But the Bluetooth on that old device was out of date which made connection sometimes difficult. The older device also only rated for 7 hours playing time and didn't hold a charge if not used. I am very happy with my current purchase.

Works good except your stereo will only go half volume

I purchased this Bluetooth device in November for one of my business vehicles, but didn’t install it until several weeks ago. The device worked well for about 30 minutes and then it inexplicably turned off, and would not turn back on. I unplugged it and came back to my car the next day and it powered up as normal but the battery counter counted quickly up from 0 to 100 and then it powered off again. Again, nothing I did restored power to the device. I don’t know if this is indicative of Joyboom quality or just a one off. I requested a replacement from customer support. I will update this review after I hear from them.

Ordered this for my new vehicle that only has an audio jack on the front plate. Super easy hook up using the audio cord provided, easy to connect all of my families phones to, and my gosh, the sound quality with the extra bass boost, it's wonderful. Couldn't be happier with this purchase, truly.I can't speak for the Bluetooth calling and such as it's not why I purchased the device, but for the purpose of connecting to my phone for music, it's perfect.EDIT: I have since used this for Bluetooth calling and it is beautiful. Crystal clear coming through my car and the people that I've asked said they couldn't tell I didn't have the phone next to me, so it works, perfect.
