Works exactly as expetected
Works great. I used it to relight an inflatable lawn ornament. When I was testing it out, I even plugged the output into 120VAC by accident and I didn't fry it.

Powering an outdoor Bluetooth speaker system
Bought this to power a Herdio in Wall Audio Control Amplifier Receiver 2 Channel Wall Plate and it works good for that purpose. I just wish I could have found something like this that was compact enough to fit in the back of an electrical enclosure behind the receiver.

It works great but is a bit too long to fit in a 4" junction box.9

Drop in replacement for faulty Ikea LED strip
I could not get an exact replacement. After checking on the size and wattage, this looked like a winner, and was. I have had this in for close to two years, no issues, works fine and an easy install.

Faulty converter. You get what you pay for!
I had to rule out all possible problems with my under cabinet light. By a process of elimination, I realized that my previous converter was dead. I have several "for halogen only" transformers on all my lighting fixtures and they have all worked well with LED light bulbs I switched to over the years. No flickering. This product caught my attention as it was designed specifically for LED bulbs. I was quite frustrated when I finished the installation and it did not work. I thought that perhaps I wired the "DC ends labeled + & - " the wrong way so I switched them and still did not work. I replaced this garbage with a brand new for halogen only" transformer and got the job done. I'm glad that other customers are pleased with their purchase. Statistics mean nothing if you are the 1 in 10,000 who gets a faulty product!

Don't plan on sizing your supply for a load close to the 3 amp rating.
Just know the supply has overcurrent protection that switches off the supply to any load drawing close to the rated 3 amps. I have one powering five LED fixtures totalling 2.8 amps (measured) and the supply occasionally shuts down. Power cycling the input restores power.

Power check
Good power supply. Checked okay with my meter. Bet the power bleeds off when turned off. So nothing unusual.
