Meffert's Ghost Cube - The Original Shape-Shifting 3D Brainteaser Puzzle - Travel-Friendly Fun for Ages 9 - Adult

This is a really neat Rubik's cube and would make a fun gift for anyone who mast mastered the original. Ours broke after a few days. I think it is from trying to turn it in ways it is not able to turn. But the only way to figure out if it will turn a certain way, is to try. Once it is in pieces it's even harder to reassemble.

My teenage daughter was using the cube gently and it fell apart in her hands. There was no way we could figure out how to put it back together. Very disappointed.

This is a pretty unique looking puzzle toy we got for the boring sections of road trips. The way it rotates is much more restrictive than a rubik's cube, but it seems even more difficult to get used to. This is a nice unique gift for someone who likes little puzzle toys to work on, but you don't know if they already have a standard rubik's cube. I LOVE the black and white styling, I think it stands out way more than if they were multi colored. It also makes you concentrate more on shapes than colors, which probably is acting on different parts of your brain.I have no idea how I'm going to solve this, or even what the tricks might be. I'm going to have to search for videos for hints.

I'm probably a mean guy for doing this, but I gifted this to a friend for his birthday. He's been getting better and better at these speed cubes. He was able to solve a speed cube with the thinner lines up top. So, being the great person I am, decided to really challenge him. Its frustrating, it turns so weird, but still smooth. It just doesn't make sense.This cube gives me the "What's the point" vibes. It's great.

I ordered this because it looked interesting and it had my name on it, but when my granddaughter saw it she picked it up and it slipped out of her hands and broke into pieces! Trying to figure out how to put it back together wasn't easy because she had already twisted it a few times, I really haven't messed with it since.

I have tried this for a while now and am having some difficulty, but that the point, right? I am being very careful with it though because I see several reviews where it fell apart. I'm kind of waiting for that to happen to me. Once I figure it out and feel more confident that it will not break, I will update my review one way or another.

Do not buy this. My son twisted it 3 times and it crumbled in his hands. Impossible to reassemble. Quality is worst I’ve ever seen. Do not waste your money on this. It’s complete garbage. The manufacturer should be ashamed.

I love this, but I probably will need to look up how to solve it lol. I’ve got one side but getting it lined up with the right middle is extremely difficult. The sliding is pretty easy once you have everything lined up but if things aren’t just right, it’s hard to get it to go where you want it to.
