Have used it over the course of a few days while on a vacation. I unfortunately have an IID interlock device on my vehicle for the next several months and it has once killed the battery over a period of just 2 days of non-use. This trickle maintainer seems to have kept that from happening on a 4 day span plugging it into my cigarette lighter. Truck started up without issue. There is a charge indicator light that illuminates green when getting solid sunlight , yellow for partial, and will go dark if not receiving light. It helps create peace of mind on not needing to purchase another battery in the dead of winter or need to pay a “reset” fee on the interlock.Pretty cheap, and simple to use. Happy purchase.

My husband bought this solar battery trickle charger for our camper, and it has been a fantastic investment! It is a great trickle charger. Just don't count on it to charge if battery is too low. otherwise it works great.

15W charger working just as advertised. Well made, sturdy, simple setup. I drive very little, so battery tends to drain over time. Have it mounted on the deck behind the back seat secured with 3M VHB sticky pads, plugged into cigarette lighter socket in the center console. On my car the cigarette lighter socket is always on so this works great, but on some cars it turns off with the ignition, so verify before using this setup. LED indicates it's charging the battery even in cloudy weather. I contacted support about leaving it connected while driving and they responded quickly confirming that would not cause any problems with the charger or the battery. So far so good. I'll update with any changes.

Never worked. Just went out to check my battery after first use of the solar charger and it's completely dead.Update: contacted customer support and they identified I wasn't using the connections that came with the new charger. Turns out even though the new one had the same connector as my old one the polarity is switched causing the new one not to work. Once I swapped out for the supplied connectors it works fine. Customer support was very responsive and helpful.

So far so good. Using this on a motorcycle. I cut the cigarette lighter adaptor off and just used the pigtail with plug. Hard wired the pigtail to the battery, ran the wire along the frame and left only the plug exposed in an inconspicuous place just under the tank. The plug matches the one on the charger. The "Hot" side of the plug on the bike is the one that's insulated. No chance of shorting out. This way I never have to fool with the battery box or cover. Face it, if you make it easy to use, you'll use it.

Use it to trickle charge my backup generator, before I would have to manually start the generator each month. Now I just go out turn the key and it fires right up. Great product and it works!

Needing a Solar Charger, I bought the 7.5 Watt Powoxi from Amazon, sheerly because it is an Amazon's Choice.It comes with a cigarette lighter 12v plug wire, and a battery clips wire. Wires have a disconnect plug in the middle. If the charger lit up and works as desired, I will make a set of wires with round hole ferrules on the ends to attach it permanently to the battery. Right now, I'm temporarily using the battery clips, and I installed it that way in the battery compartment, which will not be satisfactory on a road trip.I looped the connector wire out the battery door and used the included suction cups to adhere it above the heater door. It is connected to a new-from-the-factory Interstate sealed marine deep cycle. Let's see if it survives Western Dakota weather and foot traffic till we can head south.I like solid the feel of the charger versus a flexible, fabric backed. I chose a smaller size on purpose, for storage, not intending to need a full-time charger. There are keyhole shaped holes on each of the four corners . They fit the included suction cups, and would work with a variety of permanent mounting methods as well.If I were to ask for something else, it would be for wires with round-hole terminals to attach to battery screw posts. So far, I am pleased with the charger.
