This worked out of the box and performs as advised. I was surprised by the quality (better than expected), and I think WorkPro is winning me over. I'm glad it has a USB-C port for charging. I would buy it again and recommend it. It's also priced nicely compared to its competitors. I also bought a competitor's electric scissors, which I had to return, and then I bought this one. I wish I had bought this one first since it's so much better and cheaper.

I know Ryobi has a tool and I saw this from a review on youtube just to see what the best bang for buck may be. Being that we just moved and have a lot of boxes to put in the garbage, we needed something just like this! It cuts well through single fold cardboard and decently through double fold. However, if you cut on the seams, it cuts like butter. It's quite easy to use and saved a lot of time compared to using a box cutter or a pocket knife. It doesn't come with any replacement blades but does come with a usb c charger and a carrying case.

so far so good. the damn guide is a pain in the arse. but they are all like this, and this is better than a lot of them. will not cut double cardboard but I didn't buy it thinking it would. I don't understand why these companies have to put a button to get a button to work on a battery box cutter. And nothing on a chain saw LOL

Purchased WORKPRO SCISSORS FOR FAMILY GIFTS AND ONE FOR MYSELF after reading great reviews. Definitely gave scissors a great run on Christmas Day cutting up box after box w ease and quickness....others using theirs as well, experiencing the same. I gave a different brand that was highly advertised last year as gifts along w thick gloves for protection. Only one pair was used bc we didnt feel safe. WORKPRO has done a really good job making a quality product w a safer design at an affordable cost and even comes w a handy zippered storage case. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I was looking for some electric scissors to make breaking down boxes from snacks and drinks etc a breeze. I bought the workpro electric scissors because I’ve tried multiple tools from them and they’ve been great. I was happy to see that it came with safety features because I have 4 kiddos. I love that they are lightweight and easy to use. They are quick with soda boxes! This is definitely worth the money! Thanks Workpro for making quality affordable!

I bought this because I am a senior and have difficulties cutting boxes to put in my recycle bin. Pros: I love the case that it some in. It is very sturdy and will keep everything together. Charging was very fast. Cons: This thing was not made for people with small hands. You are supposed to operate the on off switch with your palm, but I can barely get the tips of my fingers around it since you have to keep your thumb on the safety switch in order to operate it. If your box is not totally flat, or even a little bit warped the safety guard catches making it difficult to push the blade through. You have to turn the box one direction to cut on the edges because the motor casing sticks out so far. Might be better without such a large safety guard. Safety guard only allows for thinner cardboard so will not work on double wall boxes. Not going to go through the hassle of returning it as I can still use it, just not as much as I wanted.

I bought this after having one too many near-misses using a utility knife to break down cardboard boxes. I wish I had bought it sooner--it cuts through cardboard like butter! It does occasionally snag on very thick cardboard (the blade simply isn't that big) but it's still much better than doing multiple swipes with a utility knife. Does a great job opening plastic packaging too. Battery life seems great as I have yet to charge it after using it a couple dozen times. The only thing I wish is that it had a power/lockout switch to prevent accidental activation in a bag or pocket, as the two-button safety seems a little too easy to press accidentally.

Very nice tool that works extremely well on MOST cardboard. Thicker, more rigid cardboard like produce boxes from Sam’s are more of a task with this unit but can still be done. Standard boxes like ones Amazon ships with, this unit cuts through with ease. Great value and a time saver. Most weeks I think it’s Christmas at our house with all the boxes that accumulate from our orders/grocery shopping. This allows me to get those boxes broken down and into our recycle in no time. Highly recommend

I find these to be a bit slow, but my sister, whose job it is to cut up all the cardboard for recycling, disagrees and thinks these are wonderful. They do get the job done and seem to hold a charge for good length of time. Sure beats using a box cutter to deal with the delivery boxes.
