We bought this to put over our wood shed. Very happy we did. It does not really get 100% direct sunlight...but it still gets enough and works awesome. Glad we got it. It's also adjustable....

Pros: It charges, it shines brightly, the motion detection seems to work.Cons: The bracket to attach the light to a building is really, really cheaply made, and if it lasts......I'd be surprised. The reason I would NEVER BUY it again, is the settings are almost impossible to get the remote to work properly. Maybe user error, but.....If you want this light only for a motion detection light, it is great (as this is the first setting on the remote). If you want to be able to use it for an actual on/off light, it is horrible. As far as I can tell, you have to toggle through all the settings, before you can get to the setting of: light on, bright, which is the last setting. The remote won't just turn on the setting you want. There are separate buttons for each setting, but pushing them doesn't chose that setting, you have to go in order and run through them all until you get the setting you want! Spending 20 seconds in the dark trying to get the light on just doesn't work for me. And the remote is very, very cheap. There are others I have bought that are much better: i.e. the ones where the solar charger is separate from the light (hanging) and the wire is ran from charger to light.

Bought these for in front of garage where cars park and works pretty good. Buy another for my back yard here soon.
