Easy setup and works well
The adaptor was very easy to set up and works well. I was recommended to buy this one by a family member who works with computers and games programming because he knew that it would do the job.

Easy to set up and great to use
Works great and easy to set up as long as you follow the clear instructions. I had to use the 'blind' set up instructions and it still worked perfectly. Was initially nervous as I hadn't ever turned the Ps2 on as I had just bought it from CeX but it worked perfectly and I got it to display first time. Highly recommended as a good cheap option.

Works perfect but set up via audio cables first
It works perfect , but only reason for 4 stars is the instructions armt very clear . The ps2 must be first configured on the settings via the audio cables before you can " plug and play " , so not straight forward but product works great ,well built etc . Happy , eventually.

Cheap and shoddy
You get what you pay for I guess. I bought a more expensive version of this that worked great and when I needed another one I thought I'd cheap out a little. Doesn't work. Like at all. No output from playstation detected on TV via various hdmi cables.

Works great!
The media could not be loaded. I have a ps2 phat, this works perfectly. Just follow the set-up instructions step by step and it will work

Plug and play
If you're looking for a way to play your favorite Playstation 2 games on a modern TV, the Kaico Edition Playstation 2 PS2 HDMI Converter is an excellent option. This device is designed to convert the PS2's AV output to an HDMI signal, making it easy to connect your PS2 to a TV or monitor that only has an HDMI input. One of the key benefits of this converter is its ease of use. Simply plug it into your PS2, connect an HDMI cable to your TV, and you're good to go. The picture quality is excellent, with crisp and clear visuals that bring your games to life.In terms of build quality, the Kaico Edition converter feels solid and well-made. The device is compact and lightweight, making it easy to transport and store. The plug and play design means that there's no need for any complicated setup or software installation, making it an excellent option for those who aren't tech-savvy.One thing to keep in mind is that this converter only supports outputting at 720p, so if you have a TV or monitor that supports higher resolutions, you won't be able to take advantage of that. However, for the price, the picture quality is still excellent and more than sufficient for most users.Overall, if you're looking for an easy and affordable way to play your PS2 games on a modern TV, the Kaico Edition Playstation 2 PS2 HDMI Converter is definitely worth considering. It's a great option for anyone who wants to relive their childhood gaming memories without having to sacrifice picture quality.

Sharp but dark image.
I bought one of these a while back so I could play my PS2 collection on my HD TV. At first I thought it was fine but unfortunately my first convertor broke, however considering the price that wasn’t too much of a hassle to replace. However I’m doing so I also bought a SCART to HDMI output meaning I could finally use the original SCART cable I had for my PS2. I decided to compare and the results were interesting to say the least. As you may be able to see from the images, with the convertor the picture is *really* dark, it was probably a good thing I didn’t play too many horror games because it would have been impossible. I’ve tried cranking up the brightness to max but that didn’t really solve the issue. In comparison my SCART to HDMI box gave me a nice bright image, but the sharpness was terrible (text being very hard to read), while the HDMI convertor has a very sharp image. So in the end, I’m either stuck with a grainy but well lit image, or a dark and sharp one, not ideal.

Follow instructions exactly
Found my old ps2 and needed this to connect to hdmi tv. Works perfectly and was easy to set up if you follow instructions. It's well made although a bit expensive, but to see my kids playing games I had on ps2 it's worth it.Very pleased with it
