A flawless, humane way to deal with a mouse problem! Caught and killed the mouse that was causing havoc for us in three days. It's easy to setup and use. And corpse disposal along with cleanup after is super easy and clean. It's especially good for those who are squeamish. Glue traps make me sick and are very inhumane. Snap traps are unreliable. Poison risks harming other animals. This is the only trap I've found that is 100% and is an instant, painless kill. So, if you've got a soft soul for animals and want to deal with a rodent problem in a reliable, humane way, this is the trap for you! Highly recommended.

I have tried every kind of trap and this is by far the easiest and most humane way to catch them. No mess, easy to dispose of them. Kills them instantly. Caught them within a day. Read instructions carefully for safe usage due to shock plates can injure you. Remove batteries first!

We HAD a mouse that tripped traps, but seemed uncatchable. I would recommend buying this trap. It got the mouse on the first night. Here is my critique: 1. It requires 4 AA batteries that are not included. This is not a reason not to buy this trap. 2. It is VERY hard to bait. There is a very small spot to put the pea-sized peanut butter glob. Where you place it, is next to a metal plate that shocks the mouse. You cannot get any on the plate. I used a toothpick. It was difficult, but doable. 3. Super easy to throw the mouse away without touching anything but the cover. 4. I'm not sure how to clean it. It recommends using a brush and hydrogen peroxide, but don't get it wet. I guess a damp q-tip could work. 5. It has an on switch that blinks green a few times to show it is active. Then it stops blinking. You know it got a mouse when it blinks green. 6. A red light appears with low battery. Get this trap! It works well. It seems sturdy. If it was easier to bait and clean, I would give it 🌟🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟.

I live in a rural area in an old home- rodents are kind of expected, especially as you get into the colder months. We’re working on sealing up all of the access points outside, and we have two cats, but let me tell you- these traps work fantastic. I bought non-poisonous bait to dab inside the traps in the back corner (there’s a small circle in front of the vented part where to do this), stuck the batteries in, and in the first weekend of use we easily caught 5 mice with the trap! I never noticed a noise, but the catches I’m fairly certain happened overnight. Nothing is sticky- it’s not a glue trap. The light flashes green when it has something in the trap, so it’s very easy to glance over and see if you need to clean it out. To be honest I missed a couple of times where a mouse was caught in some of the more remote spots we set them up, but eventually mother nature let us know (iykyk). Since I do live in a rural area, I’d just throw a vinyl glove on and pick the full trap up, turn it off, and bring it out by the woods to empty it. Pop it open and shake the mouse out (since nothing was poisoned, some other critter outside gets a nice easy snack). I’d then take a couple of cotton swabs dipped in rubbing alcohol to clean out where the bait was and where the mouse was, let it dry and air out, and reset it. The most effective way to set up the trap is to bait it and put it in a quiet room or closet where you think they’re entering up along a wall (there’s hole side next to the wall, not on the outside of the trap) since mice tend to run along the walls. Make sure you check/change the batteries every 6 months (or more often if the traps are getting a lot of action). These traps are fantastic, definitely recommend.

⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️ HONEST REVIEW HERE: I've always preferred snap traps over glue traps, as glue traps strike me as unnecessarily cruel, and using poison isn’t an option because I worry about wildlife coming across poisoned, dead mice. My rural home is surrounded by hundreds, maybe thousands, of acres of farmland and fields—corn, beans—so mice are unavoidable, no matter how diligent I am. For years, my cat handled the occasional field mouse, but since she passed away a few years ago, the problem has gotten worse: now I find evidence daily, where before it was just every so often. Initially, I stuck with snap traps, but they proved inefficient, with a lot of missed or partial catches. More heartbreakingly, I repeatedly found critically injured but still alive mice and having to euthanize them was devastating, and it was clear I needed a better solution. So, I decided to try these electric traps, and overall, I’m happy with their performance. They’re effective, with clean instant kills. Easy mouse disposal and zero critically injured half alive mice. But after a only few successful catches, one stopped working. I made sure to clean the plates and replace the batteries, but the bait kept disappearing without triggering the trap, and I had no way to reliably test the unit except for the green light indicator. Unfortunately, this happened just after my Amazon 30-day return window, so I reached out to the manufacturer through their portal here on amazon and explained the situation: these work well, but I can't afford devices that quit after only a handful of catches. Not in this economy. To my surprise, without any hassle and before I even heard back, I received a replacement in the mail today—just two days after I sent my message. I haven’t even checked my inbox yet to see if they replied. Wow! Color me impressed! More companies should offer this level of customer service and genuinely care about their customers’ satisfaction. Because of this positive experience, I’ll be buying a few more of these traps. Thank you, Victor!

This is a seriously cool mouse trap! This thing makes me feel like I’m living in the future. Not only does it look the business but it’s also super easy to setup and provides a tidy, mess free mouse trapping environment. The problem with standard traps is that they can be messy when successfully activated. The problem with sticky traps is that they are effective but awfully cruel and a nightmare if you stand on one or have pets. The problem with humane traps is that mice (in my experience) just don’t use them and even if they did, they can be cruel too if you’re on holiday somewhere and the poor thing is left to starve to death. This trap, then, is the best of all worlds. It’s super easy to setup. You just separate the two compartments and put 4xAA batteries in the left side. You then open the right side (the mouse catching bit) and put a big dollop of peanut butter on the end panel. This, cleverly, has a plastic wall next to it which is perforated with holes to let the mouse sniff the goodness inside! You then click both pieces back together and switch on. When you do this, a green light shows and there is a satisfying buzz/hum to let you know that the electrification mechanism is armed. You then place the box next to a wall in a troublesome area and wait for a curious mouse to sniff the peanut butter, enter the trap and be immediately electrocuted. It’s quick, effective and there’s no mess. If a mouse enters the trap and actives it, the trap flashes a green light on top to let you know that it’s caught something. You can then safely switch it off, dispose of the mouse and wipe out the container ready for re-arming. This thing is seriously cool and works like a dream. After unsuccessfully attempted to remove mice with the other type of traps, this thing attracted and disposed of them straight away. Yes, it’s more expensive than your standard traps but it’s way more effective, much cleaner and you don’t run the risk of causing immense pain to your fingers when the setup process goes wrong! Snap!!! Highly recommended!

Funciona muy bien. Lo único, hay que colocar el cebo con cuidado para que no toque el metal, porque si no, se mantiene activada y te quedas sin batería. Eso sí: sólo vale para ratones pequeños.

Unfortunately this trap was only a trap for my money :( I have clear signs of mice in my house and I have tried using this trap all ways possible. It is almost as if the rats are laughing at you with it. I have tried several times with the recommended bait (peanut butter), and it didn’t work. Then I realized the rats were always going towards my dog’s treats, so I decided to place one on the bait tray - result: no dead mice and NO BAIT LEFT! They managed to get in and out with the bait and still alive…. Waste of money.
