A great kit, has everything you need and there is a matching YouTube video showing you how to fix your joycons. Was quick a simple fix and it worked for a fraction of the cost of replacement controllers. Would use again!

So first off I accidentally knocked the controller off the dresser & broke one of the nobs off, ugh. I looked through amazon & found this kit. My fiance of course said I couldn't fix it & this kit wasn't gonna work. Well I proved him so wrong! Lol. The kit had everything I needed! I just watched a video on YouTube & it was so easy! It honestly works perfectly after I fixed it! I showed my fiance all proud, like I fixed it & it works perfectly, look lol. He said the nob wouldn't work right after you replace it, but he couldn't have been more wrong! I had absolutely no problems fixing it or using it! I read actually those nobs wear out a lot & they'll have to be replaced. I was sure to tell my fiance this lol. That people replace the nobs all the time with no issues. Thank you for such a great kit & so very much for proving my fiance wrong! Lol. Great kit for the money & very worth it! Don't buy a whole new piece when u can just replace the nobs! Not technical at all! I just went slow & watched a video I found to fix it! Easy peasy!! Ty 😊

Okay, let me start with installation..... HAVE PATIENCE! You are practiaclly going to be disassembling the console to get to the joy sticks. This can be frustrating. I actually had a video to from another part I was replacing at the same time for refence. I will be leaving a review for that too but, back to this one. I used the lid of the packaging to out all the screws in so I didnt lose any. One thing I definitely think could be better is the magnetism strength of the screwdrivers sent with the kit. It sucks. I lost a couple of screws but, was able to locate them. I have a ifixit brand kit with all these little specialty bits in tiny sizes that I swapped to using because they have an excellent magnetism and you dont drop screws. Anyway, once you get into the part where you swap the joysticks, its an easy swap. One the reconnection.... I had to take it back apart a couple times because some of the bands were dirty or not seated properly. One the last try, I cleaned each band end and insert slot as best I could with a tip of qtip I use to clean around my nails when I do those. I will attach an image below so you can see. They are almost like a toothpick on one end. Be gentle. You're just trying to remove dirt and oils and help make a good connection. I should have took a video, but there was a lot of cussing happening when I was putting it all back together. I had an issue with the screen not coming on. Fixed that with a disconnection, clean the connections, reseat them all and tey again. Then once I was able to see the screen and test the joysticks, the left one wasnt working at all. This is one of the times I had to pull the left side back apart, clean and reconnect and test. This time it worked and I put it all back together into one unit. So, all in all, yes I recommend this kit bit better screwdrivers would help a lot and just be prepared for this to take sometime and a lot of patience!

This product worked great and also good value for the money. Was able to save two pairs of joycons after my kids bit off the stock thumb grips. These worked perfectly after install and it's like having a new joycon again

Definitely worth the buy. Since I accidentally drop my switch from a decent height from the couch, the joystick stop working. So, this gave me a chance to switch out the joystick on the controller, and now, I don’t need to spend any money on the controllers. Since it’s pricey to buy duel joy-cons as it is, with the 80 dollars price tag and where you live with tax or not.
