Now at first I applied it the way I would apply similar cleaning products: sprayed and stretched with a cloth, and it did not work, actually there were smudges all over the place. Then I decided to apply it in a little bit thicker layer, just a little bit. It says it needs about 1 hour before you can walk, so I simply used a brush, very flat one, sprayed the product and then used the brush so the surface becomes sufficiently and obviously just about wet so there is something to dry. It looked wet at first and although it did not look wet after a few minutes already, I did not walk on it for about an hour. And there you go: it looks shiny as expected. So just a little bit more of the product since it has to create a layer not just dust it off with a wet cloth as you would do usually with these products. Do test a little bit before applying. It looks to me that it is a very good product.

Easy to use works fine.

This product really really works, and I've tried many. It has made my tired, dull vinyl kitchen floor looks like new. It makes the floor shiny, you know that nice shine when it's wet, that you wish would not disappear when dry. It also seems to stay cleaner longer.

I've used this on two types of hard floor - grey slate in my utility room and limestone in the kitchen. Regardless of floor type the polish is very easy to apply. However the results between the slate and the limestone (in my case at least) are very different. I applied two coats to both types of surface and in each case followed the instructions to the letter. The final finish on the grey slate is excellent - absolutely uniform, clean and with a nice gloss, exactly what I was looking for. If I was just reviewing the slate I would give this product 5 stars. The limestone is a very different story. I should add that my floors were laid just over 12 years ago and have experienced fairly light use as I live alone. Both surfaces were professionally treated once laid but that protective layer has gradually worn and this has begun to show. I also made sure to clean the surfaces before glossing - using the Bona cleaner (note that this cleans Ok but leaves a dull and streaky finish regardless of stone type - at least in my case. So not impressed and would not buy again). After applying the polish to the limestone the initial 'wet' gloss finish looked very promising indeed. However this is not how it dried at all. The finish was at best (on a few tiles) uniform with more of a satin sheen than a gloss. I could have lived with that however many other tiles had a very uneven, dull finish - so across the floor no uniformity at all. It may be that this reflects the nature of limestone compared to slate as well as variable wear patterns across the floor (though you would be hard pressed to identify these with a visual inspection). Either way the end result is very disappointing. I would add that the dried polish appears to be hard and durable (which is good). I know this because I tried to hand polish up some of the unevenly dried tiles using a micro fibre cloth - just impossible. I'm now considering buying a floor polishing machine... So for what it's worth I would approach this product with caution and possibly do what I should have done - test it on an area of floor which may not be noticed. One last point - and I stand to be corrected here - I saw nothing in the product description or instructions which cautioned against using this on limestone).

I had tried another lacquer initially on the kitchen floor and it was pretty poor and started letting the paint underneath peel up. This one was easy to put down and spread, dried as promised in one hour and has been suitable for a heavy traffic floor. Would use again.

I have spent lots of time and money finding a polish for my laminate floors without success until I tried Bono it might be a bit more expensive, but is to my mind well worth the extra. My floors are lovely. Also i use this polish on my floor tiles in the bathroom and kitchen and it works a treat. I also purchased the bono cleaner which is also great.

Terrible!!! I wish I had done my homework before using. Has ruined my floor completely. Both tiles and laminate. You basically cannot mop the floor every again! Followed the instructions to a tee. Streaky! Slippy! Patchy! This item is apparently known for ruining floors which I didn't know. Should not be allowed to sell! Too late to return the laminate one but will return this one.

Exactly what I was looking for. Gave my tile floor a discreet glossy look. Will definitely use it again. Just hope that it will last 6 months....

Extremely difficult to apply, when it dryes out it gets hard, which is okay, the difficult part is to leave the layer uniformly spread on the floor.
