I’ve bought two of these outside taps and they’ve both worked brilliantly for different purposes. One is fitted to a pair of linked water butts, and it gives a smooth, steady flow - perfect for filling a watering can without any leaks or drips. The other I used to add to an existing outside tap using a splitter, and it connected easily and securely with no fuss. The build quality feels solid, and all the fittings were tight and reliable straight out of the box. Installation was straightforward. Highly recommended whether you’re looking to manage rainwater from water butts or extend your current garden tap setup.

We live in a hilly area where, the hose on the side of the house is approx. 10foot above the garden floor level, this allows me to turn the tap on at the house and not have to soak the entire garden. It works. Great item, good value for money. Easy to fit and install 4 screws provided. Doesn't leak with the brass fittings we purchased to work with the hose. Looks to be of great quality time will tell

Well, I had been looking forward to receiving this tap as the supply fitting made it easier to attach a hose or supply hose instead of faffing around with copper pipe. I will try to be clear with pros and cons as the build quality is brilliant and for a novice DIYer it would be much easier to use. For a start the build is great. The brass is well cast and solid, no flakes or sharp edges often found on cast metal products. The first thing I noticed was how low the tap head is to the body, this means you have less clearance once fitted to a back board or wall. For some this might be useful especially if you are trying to fit a tap with low height clearance. I wanted to fit it to a back board to stand proud of the wall with a bucket stand below. But the proximity to the wall bracket in height meant it did not stand proud of the top of the board. However this of course is not a fault, just a different design which didn't suit my needs. The tap handle turns smoothly and without great effort, it also has fairly large paddles to turn making it easier for people with a weaker grip. The threads are clean and without fault, the tap does not leak and the rubber washers are chunky and good quality, and the back plate is accessible enough for a long handles screwdriver to fit. Screws are included, suprising not brass like the tap itself, a minor detail but for me I hate to see brass fittings with silver screws. The screws themselves are of good quality. I would recommend this for anyone who does not have the skill to fit a tap with copper pipe feed. Very well made in all aspects, great price, what's not to like. Would recommend.

My tap is attached to the house wall and it was a pain to water the bottom of my garden where my veggies are and my hose used to kink all the time. I bought a length of hose and run it down the side of my garden to the bottom end. I atteched this tap to a post and now this tap and hose that Ive run acts like a water version of an extension lead. I can now use a short hose to water my veggies.

I purchased this external tap to install on a wooden post close to my raised vegetable patch and connect to my irrigation system and has worked well. It is metal with a brass finish and I have connected a water pipe and then a splitter to this to enable both a hose and irrigation system to connect and provide water further up the garden. So far I haven't had any leaks and the product seems very good quality and is easy to install/mount with screws provided. Recommended for any garden where water is needed.

Easy fit ! Good quality ! Easy way to extend to a better position!

This is a great way to mount a tap anywhere in the garden. Made of brass and easy to fit. However, the product fails after two years as the screw thread inside the tap strips and it won't close off. Its supposed to have a 'lifetime' guarantee, but you get no joy from the suppliers.

Why sell a perfectly good brass tap and send 3rd rate screws to fix it with. I was replacing and old tap two of the screw heads sheared off. I’ve been around a long time and don’t consider myself heavy handed, do please improve quality of screws to match a great tap
