Great purchase for the price
The Truefree GT1 Smartwatch is a solid product for its price. It offers a wide range of functions with a reasonably intuitive user interface. Considering the price, the variety of datapoints is pretty impressive as is the functionality which includes phone calls and simple messaging. You can control music on your phone as well as volume. The vibration is reasonable for notifications, though I do find it to be not enough to wake me up on its own. Battery life is solid. A single charge can last me well over a week, but this is also dependent on how often you pair with your phone for phone calls. Whether or not the battery’s capacity will remain at this level in the long run I can not yet speak on. The watch charges quickly. The screen glass hasn’t shown any signs of damage after a few weeks of not being particularly careful with it, though again I can’t speak yet on how it will hold up in the long run.Anyone looking for an inexpensive Fitbit alternative should be satisfied as long as you’re coming in with tempered expectations (it is significantly cheaper than a Fitbit). You are able to display graphs on both the smartwatch itself and its companion app, which, at least on the iPhone is easy to use but suffers from sluggish (relatively speaking) connection time to the smartwatch when pulling data. Often, you can find yourself waiting 10 seconds for the app to connect and pull data from the watch. Once pulled, the data is presented well, with graphs broken down into bins classifying heart rate and sleep, and you can adjust parameters like measurement frequency for SPO2 (from the default of once every hour to as often as once every 10 minutes.) While the maximum SPO2 measurement frequency does leave a bit to be desired, it’s perfectly sufficient to detect your response to a 20 minute jog. Whether the data is accurate is another question altogether, and is difficult to judge without comparing against gold-standard measurement equipment. That being said, the data seems to be in at least the right ballpark based on measurements while at the doctor’s office and in response to substances like caffeine. O2 Saturation (SPO2) similarly appears to be in the right ballpark. The watch itself is heavier than what you would typically expect from a more expensive smartwatch. For example, the Apple Watch is roughly a third of the weight. The screen’s responsiveness leaves a bit to be desired. In my case I have to touch the virtual buttons a bit off-center to register the correct selection, but it also didn’t take too long for me to get accustomed to this and it soon becomes less noticeable.Everything told, any of the GT1’s shortfalls are easily overlooked when considering it is just a fraction of the price of a more expensive competitor. This smartwatch is absolutely worth the purchase for it’s extremely reasonable price.

Sleek, useful, cool watch for a great price!
This is my first experience using a smart watch. The watch face is smooth and beautiful and you can change out the face/dial of it with so many different faces (very fun) using the Soundpeats Sports app, which was easy to install and use. It uses battery so sparingly—lasts such a long time! I have been using it for 5 days now and have not had to recharge it yet. It is amazing to be able to monitor heart rate and steps and oxygen levels, and I am thrilled to finally be able to know how much I’ve NOT slept at night! This is my favorite feature. You can see details in the Sports app on your phone. Checking weather is simple on the watch. Being able to see text messages and notifications and messages from apps like Whatsapp and other chat apps is super cool. You just have to chat/text back using voice. It’s so convenient to be able to answer phone calls with the watch!! In summary, this watch does a whole bunch of things and makes life just a little easier. It seems quite sturdy and it’s a great value for sure!

Good, with some minor issues
It's a good watch. If you wanted a budget smart watch with a large screen this is it. It will control your music when synced and is a good step counter. The find my phone feature is good as well if you misplaced your phone in a room or it fell behind your bed or your couch.I have a few slight issues with the watch. For me these are slight issues as it doesn't affect me too badly but they are somewhat odd to the point of being annoying. (Also some of these issues may these issues may just be unique to me and my specific watch.)1. The biggest issue comes down to the accuracy of the calories tracking via walking. Unless the other specific options for sports yield more accurate tracking, walking ~2100 steps is 100 calories.I have a treadmill at my gym that I use and I had walked with a certain speed and incline and had ended up with a calorie count on my watch that was lower than on the treadmill for that session even after taking into account prior steps. It is as if the watch only flatly takes in to account the steps with out anything else. (The watch does have options for specific sports but honestly I've never used them)2. The watch will not count my heart rate accurately at times. A few times over the last few months it displays as "00" when I'm clearly wearing the watch. Other times it will register a pulse when I'm not wearing it.3. The watch more recently mislogged my stepdata when resyncing to my phone. As I had charged it while it was off. When i charged it and was wearing it for part of the day it was not synced. When i did sync it. I had steps that got logged as the previous day after syncing rather than the day it actually was.4. The watch is very good with battery life. I get about 4-5 days of use but I have noticed that the watch on occasion will die at 12% after giving me the low battery warning. It seems to drain quickly at that point as it will be completely dead (at 0%) when I go back to charge it.These experiences haven't so negatively affected my opinion of the watch that I wouldn't recommend it (I'm wearing it now as im typing this). It's a good budget smart watch especially if you get it while it's on sale.
