Clairol Nice'n Easy Crème Permanent Hair Dye, 8A Medium Ash Blonde

I’ve used Clairol Nice’n Easy Crème 4G (Dark Golden Brown) a few times now and it’s consistently impressive. The product is really easy to mix and apply – the instructions are clear, and the crème formula makes it less messy than some other dyes I’ve tried.The colour turned out exactly as described on the box – a rich, dark golden brown with a natural-looking warmth. It gave my hair great shine and depth, without looking flat or fake.Best of all, the colour lasts really well. Even after a few weeks and several washes, it still looks vibrant and fresh. I waited to write this review so i could see how the colour changed between several weeks of washing.Having used another wellKnown hair dye for 30 years which has become increasingly weaker over the last 5 years only staying in for a few washes i have been trying out new different options as a replacement. Clairol nice and easy is by far the best of those tried so far . Its Exceptional hair dye as the colour actually stays true for many weeks (6 weeks for me and it still looks fabulous). Of course i still have to dye roots periodically and the grey coverage is fabulous! Its a much shorter setting time 25 mins compared to others which can be 30-45 mins. Good consistency so not too runny that it drips everywhere and not too thick where you cant rub it around to spread it. It does stick to your skin around your face badly but i have learned to be more careful so i limit the impact ( tip: put some conditioner around the edge of your face at the hair line). Also worth noting there isnt enough in the bottle to cover all my very long hair but defo enough for roots and hair bob length!

I have this on subscribe & save and im thoroughly impressed with the results. So much cheaper than the shops. The color turned out exactly as shown on the box—rich, vibrant, and even from root to tip. Very nice shade of brown, applies well and covers different coloured patches of hair. I have shoulder length hair for reference and bough two boxes and this was more than enough product to evenly and thoroughly apply. I have washed my hair a few times since applying and the colour has held up fairly well. Will reapply again in a couple of weeks - roughly around 4 weeks after applying. I also used the conditioner afterwards, which I tend not to be a fan of as I usually do not like fragrance as I find they can smell the same and very chemical like but this was very pleasant and made my hair feel super soft, I will use this as a hair mask even when not colouring. The product at first seems quite dark when wet, as do most hair dyes, but once dried and in different light, the colour leans a nice shade of cool brown. I would highly recommend this product and will buy again to top up the roots.

This hair dye is easy to use, covers grey well. Lovely colour which lasts quite a long time. Hair feels lovely and soft after using the conditioner supplied.

I have been using this product and colour for the past 15 years now. It leaves my hair more moisturised and glossy. It covers grey for about 6 weeks until I see the grey hairs coming back. I wouldn’t use anything else.

I've been dyeing my hair for 20 years now and now that I need a colour that gives good grey coverage, I've been struggling to find a decent dye.This one ticked the boxes I need:- covers greys- easy to apply- not the worst smelling- THE COLOUR DOESN'T RINSE OUT FOR WEEKS AFTERWARDS!! This has been the key factor in deciding to go with this dye whenever I dye my hair now - did the initial rinse until clear and that's been it - not a drop of colour in follow-up rinses, no stained pillow and no streaks down my face when caught in the rain!
