Check the price
I bought this from Amazon in July 2019. I was going to buy some more today but didn't. The product itself is excellent. It's very easy to use and it works very well. You can use it to fill surprisingly deep gaps without having to build it up in layers. It doesn't shrink at all as it dries. It sticks to a multitude of surfaces. It's rock hard when it dries and doesn't crack even on surfaces that are walked on. It can be painted over. It works just fine outdoors, in the rain and in fairly large variations in temperature. It's pretty much perfect for a wide variety of jobs. The only drawback I found is the overly optimistic statement of drying time. A thin layer will dry in the stated drying time, but you're probably not using this product in a thin layer. It's intended for deep gaps, hence the name, and those will take at least a day to dry. But that's more a drawback in the labelling than the product itself. So why didn't I buy more today? Because the price on Amazon is now about 2.5 times the price for the same product elsewhere and that is ridiculous. I paid ~£8 for it from Amazon in July and that's the usual price both then and now. Amazon is charging ~£20 for it at the moment.

My go to filler
My children regularly attack the walls and for context, I’ve included a ‘before’ photo, with the purple wallpaper. We have chunks of wall missing and holes. I use this Polyfilla to touch up the wall and then paint over. Where it’s a little bit worse, or bigger area, I’ll also use it with builders tape and sand down. I’ve added two pictures that show ‘after’ pictures of using the Polyfilla. Yes, it goes on grey and dries very light grey, but with one coat of generic white paint, you wouldn’t know and the quality of this one is so good to just have around. As a single mum, with two energetic boys, and not much budget, I’m thankful for this product.

Nice filler
I’ve always mixed powder for filler but thought I’d try this for a chance. It’s lovely to work with. It has the consistency of mousse or angel delight. Which is great for filling moderate holes. Traditional filler can take ages to dry but because this is so airy it drys really fast. You can usually start to sand it within an hour.

Drying time vastly underestimated
Fills deep holes and doesn’t sag if applied carefully. But, the ‘surface dry in 1-2 hours’ is a gross underestimate. 30hrs and still very spongy, ie. Not able to be sanded nor painted.

Good stuff.
Filled a large gap where the plaster had come away around a wall switch, very easy to apply and smooth then sand down, once painted it's hard to notice at all, great product.
