This is something that everybody who does mechanic's work in an enthusiastic way, should have in their garage. Many people reuse old cotter pins, but they are so inexpensive, and this set comes with so many of them, that buying it is a necessity.

I liked the fact that this is a nice assortment of stainless steel cotter pins. The nice case it came in is in pieces along with the cotter pins when it was delivered. Not happy! UPDATE!!!!! They were very pleasant to deal and actually sent me a new case? But if you see by the photo they won’t fit in this case. I’m not sure what this case is for but it’s not for these cotter pins that I received. I did not realize that there were dividers in the case that they sent me. They went completely out of there way to make sure I received what I purchased. I am completely satisfied and will absolutely use them again. Great company.

I bought this to have a set of cotter pins if I needed them. This is a nice variety of pins to have on hand.The only issue I had was the case was broken when it arrived and pins were everywhere. It was probably due to the shipper rather than the manufacturer.

it was just what I wanted, and after reading a person answer about the diameter of the cotter pins, I decided to buy the package. The case that they are stored in is nice in that it locks and keeps the different sizes separate.

I replaced my original, rusted, car tie-rod cotter pin with this one. It just slid in and I could bend the ends easily using pliers and it had same head and the original. Being stainless steel, this is not going to rust, so this is better than the original. The set of cotter pins are definitely worth it!

I bought these because we're always working on our vintage Oldsmobile, and seems like we're always banging out an old cotter pin to reuse. I saw these and ordered them. Very nice quality. Smooth (easy through the holes) and a decent difference in the tab length so it's easy to bend over. Nice size assortment as well as a nice storage box. I am very pleased with them.

These are excellent stainless pins. They are harder to bend than regular steel ones, and will not rust, so a safe option for any classic car.
