80% OF THE BOOK IS A STUDY GUIDE, EXPLAINING METHODS AND TECHNIQUES FOR FINDING THE ANSWER. THERE IS ONLY 2 PRACTICE TESTS IN THE BOOK. THE FIRST ONE HAS THE ANSWER PRINTED DIRECTLY BELOW IT WHICH MAKES IT USELESS FOR STUDYING AS YOU CAN'T HELP BUT SEE THE ANSWER IF YOU READ THE QUESTION. THERE IS, HOWEVER, ONE FULL LENGTH PRACTICE TESTS THAT THEY ACTUALLY PUT THE ANSWERS IN A DIFFERENT CHAPTER, SO THAT'S THE ONLY USEFUL ONE TO ME. I'LL HAVE MY WIFE GO THROUGH AND PUT TAPE OVER THE ANSWERS IN THE FIRST TEST SO I CAN ACTUALLY USE IT. MIGHT BE GOOD FOR A BEGINNER TO GET THE IDEA DOWN BUT ITS NOT GOOD IN MY OPINION YOU NEED SEVERAL DIFFERENT FULL LENGTH PRACTICE TESTS WITH ANSWERS IN A DIFFERENT CHAPTER TO REALLY GET YOUR CONFIDENCE UP.

I paid high dollar for a 12 hours course in Austin TX, got lost during class and did not learn much. This book is very well put together, they make learning the code book easy and clear. I'm getting more knowledge and confidence towards the journeyman test each time I use it.

This book is great and I would recommend it to anyone who is trying to study for their journeyman license.
