Koi No Yokan [VINYL]

Around The Fur and the self titled have been my favourite Deftones albums for many years, until I listened to this album. This one is probably their best.

Amazing one of my faves. Can't wait for the new album too! This is a very awesome quality valuable album and a great deal for me.

フリーダウンロードされていた名曲leathersから、妖艶で退廃的なニューウェーブっぽいものを想像していたが、比較的明るい感じの曲が多い気がする。 前ベーシストのチのことがあり、喪に服していたかのように白と黒を基調にまとめられたジャケットが印象的だった前作とはうって代わり、夜の闇に浮かび上がるネオンのように鮮やかな(かといって下品でない)今作のアートワークは作品の音そのものを反映しているようだ。 新鮮だったのはベースにエフェクトを積極的に用いた曲があること。歪んで幾分軽くなった低音にエイブのための効いたドラムが絡まりなんとも心地好い。 全体的に聴きやすく、Saturday night wristの雰囲気に近いと思う。 頭で聴くのではなくぜひ身体全体で体感してもらいたい。 あと今回タイトルが日本語なので、もうちょっと日本でもバンドの実力にふさわしい人気が出て欲しい…かな? (^_^;)

J'ai découvert très récemment Deftones avec le dernier album et j'ai depuis acheté tous les autres CD. Je me régale album après album. Celui-ci est sans aucun doute un de mes favori, avec White Pony. J'adore les ambiances différentes des morceaux, Lethears est une tuerie !!! Un groupe énorme que j'aurais aimé connaître plus tôt afin de les voir en festivals. Belle pochette et musique incroyable !
