Works perfect
I lost the original control and got this one, hoping it would work: easy setup and flawless compatibility with our Hampton Bay fan. The 3-speed control and dimmer let us tweak airflow and lighting perfectly—no fumbling with pull chains. The included FAN28R receiver and wall mount add convenience. Sturdy build, smooth performance, and a great value. A must-have upgrade for any fan owner!

Should you buy?
Works great and worth every penny. Better than pulling the chains on the fan every time you want to use it. Bought four of them, and would buy again.

Easy install
Easy install. Matched the wires exactly and responds to the commands, unlike the old one I replaced

Fairly easy to install and works good. I had to cut the wiring harness on the fan light kit to attach the wires. I recommend this product.

Poor quality control.
Package arrived with not all of the parts. It was obvious to the installer that someone had tried to install the receiver previously. Receiver was inoperable, and had to be returned. I was out $100.00 for the cost of the installer's time.

Easy replacement
Nice, quick replacement for lost remote. You do have to wire it in to fan.

Not compatible with our fan that was listed.
Not compatible with Casun Ceiling fan. Only use with a fan that has two black and one white wire and a ground coming from the fan. Other than that it was easy to install and had great easy to read instructions.

Old remote stopped working, just popped in a new battery into this one and it works perfectly!
