So many issues with this camera, but most recently it has disconnected from the parent unit at very inconvenient times and been very difficult to pair again. I was able to pair while talking to a tech but not on my own following the same steps. The parent unit beeps really loud when it’s disconnected too. The temperature is always different than another thermometer in the same room. I got this camera specifically for the face covering and roll over detection but it would go off (loud beeping) every time baby turned her face to the side so I had to turn the feature off. This camera also doesn’t work with a universal baby monitor stand so we paid $80 for a special one that will only work with this specific camera. If the camera is left on during the day it constantly sends push notifications to my phone that baby is asleep and awake when baby isn’t in the crib. When getting up in the middle of the night to tend to baby it’s been easiest to just turn off the parent unit so the parent still sleeping doesn’t hear everything through it but tonight when we did that the camera wouldn’t connect when we turned it back on, which woke baby back up as we tried to reconnect and prompted us to finally just buy a different monitor and stand unfortunately. From what I can tell, they don’t even sell this monitor anymore, so that tells me they know how dysfunctional it is. Really disappointed and frustrated! Would most certainly not recommend!!

My wife got a recommendation for this product from her friend who found this innovative and very effective.The 5" viewer become our new handy item which we take across the home to keep an eye on her. We have also installed the app on our mobile phones, which allow us to check on the baby even either of us are not at home. The night vision is just perfect, even in darkness, we can clearly see she sleeping soundly and with the adaptive color night light we soothe the baby when required or just simply watch her sleep without switching on the room lights. The temperature sensor helps us monitor the ambient room temperature.We are fascinated by the intelligent alerts such as when baby face is not visible or covered by bed sheet. We have seen this work multiple times perfectly and is superb feature.The app also has sleep monitoring dashboard providing nice analysis of my girl sleep patterns and how much she sleeps , wakes up etc.The best part is continuous recording, every morning, we see the video on how she behaves across the night at quick glance using the slider, this a truly amazing and fast, and the video is stored locally on the camera, not on cloud.

Started out great! Now we are a year in and I want to chuck this crap out the window! We live in a 1000 sq ft apartment so not small but not large. We lose WiFi connection all the time and then it doesn’t work. I try to direct connect and it still will not connect. I troubleshoot and then loose my patience. We are about to move and have baby two arrive. I can’t wait to get a new monitor. Don’t buy.

I had super high hopes for this camera. I loved that it had a parent unit as well. Fast forward to my baby being 8month, the camera stopped connecting to Wi-Fi and whatever we did to fix it, it would not work or reconnect. After several days of frustration and worry of not being able to see my baby, I broke down and bought a Nanit. Wish I would have saved my $200 and just went with a different camera to begin with.Side note, if you have textured walls, the cord cover for the wall will not stick so I had to buy a stronger cord cover mount.Wish I had seen the bad reviews after the fact.AVOID!

Occasional connectivity issues but overall reliable and good quality video. The white noise function has been great in helping our son sleep.

The picture quality and features are great! I can see my baby clearly on the monitor in daytime and night mode. There are a lot of options for sounds to help your baby fall asleep, and the face camera detector is a wonderful feature. Unfortunately, the connectivity is horrible in both wifi and base connection. I live in a 2 story 1800 sqft house, and it disconnects frequently. I can be in the next room connecting camera-base without wifi, and it'll disconnect multiple times. I've had it in the same room, and it disconnected. It takes at least 5 - 10 minutes to reconnect on its own, or I have to restart the camera and base.

Blown away at the attention to detail that went into this camera. Yes, the features are very cool and they work as advertised. But, it’s little things like how the app has a list of milestones that babies hit over the first several months so that you can be on the lookout for those milestones when you’re watching the camera - that’s the stuff that really impresses me. I know it’s a very small thing. But, when a company takes that level of care to make sure the user experience is perfect, you know it’s a great product.
