Fantastic little router for the price
This is a good little desktop or rackmount router pc for small to medium networks where throughput isn't super important but you need the extra features. In my case this unit came with pfsense 2.4.4 preinstalled which is a nice touch but I did have to reinstall to make sure there wasn't anything in the software, just a basic precaution with anything from china, though the software didn't look to be nefarious, I was probably being my usual paranoid self. The ports on the front are tight fitting and the lack of a fixed power button is annoying however I wouldn't say either is particularly bad either, the unit powers up as soon as the power is connected and boots quickly. As for internals, it's a standard minipc, not really surprising but the cpu does support aesni and vt-I so this could work as a mini virtualization machine, say for running a pbx and a router on the same unit but the lack of cores and storage raid limits it's appeal for that purpose and you may be better served by a dedicated pc in a rack case. The included accessories was nice with a power lead and sata cable for a 2.5 inch drive, unfortunately though the bracket for the drive seemed to be missing for mine.In summaryPros: quick bootingNice tidy hardwareSimple to upgradeCons:Mine didn't include the 2.5" bracketOnly dual coreLimited to max 8gb ram
