It is definitely one of the best caulk guns I have had. Pros: 1. Drip-free: I had absolutely no drip from the start to finish of the cartridge (outdoor silicon). No material wasted. 2. Effortless and easy to control flow rate with the two thrust ratios 3. Solid construction, it will not bend at the junction of the handle lever with body, like the contractor-grade gun I bought at Rona. Cons: 1. A bit heavier, but it is heavy duty so I don't mind. Definitely recommend if you are looking for something that will last a long time.

Ce pistolet est parfait. Le fait d'avoir les deux modes de force, c'est génial. Même avec du scellement chimique qui est super épais, ça sort sans presque aucun effort. Pour le silicone classique, c'est encore plus facile. La prise en main est bonne, il est solide et ça ne force pas du tout. Un vrai gain de temps et d'énergie sur le chantier. Je recommande pour tous les types de produits en cartouche.

I agree with Phil, lower down. Good gun but needs a better explanation for how to change from High Thrust to Low Thrust and vice versa. For those still confused, try this: Ignore the instructions - the arrows are wrong. Hold the gun by the black handle so that the barrel is horizontal. With your other hand, move the blue handle forwards about half way between its 'at rest' position and as far as it will go. Keeping the handle in that position, move the entire blue handle VERTICALLY up or down as required to change from HIGH Ratio to LOW Ratio and back. By vertically, if still not clear, I mean at 90 degrees to the barrel of the gun. As Phil says, once you've done it correctly a couple of times, it's dead easy.
