I got this for my kids (age 7 and 3) for Christmas and they both love it. It’s challenging enough that they don’t get something every single time but it’s easy enough to where even my 3 year old can do it and win a prize. They can easily open the top and add whatever they want in there. The music is kind of annoying tho.

My kids really love it, its easy to use and super cute. it comes with little toys already which are easy to insert back in and you can also put in your own of similar size. compact and easy to store

Not a huge deal, but you need to know that in order to play the game, you need to press the star button. You can't "play" unless you start there.There are eight included "toys": four little stuffies, and four empty balls, which you could presumably put VERY tiny things in. No idea where you'd get other prizes to put in this machine, but they'd have to be very small and lightweight. And, you won't be able to fit many things in this machine.The claw just moves side to side, in an arc. It's controlled by a knob you turn. The grabby part is a plastic claw that opens when it gets near the bottom and closes when it goes up. You only have a song's worth of time to try and get an item. It's fairly easy to get an item with one of the included toys. When you drop it through the chute, it has a sensor that plays a tune and the process starts all over again. The chute does not have a door. I wish it did. You can power it with USB (included) or batteries (not included).The machine itself is cute. The songs are cute. You can adjust the volume of the tunes. The bunny at the top twists to open/close (the markings say ON and OFF) the top to put in more prizes. But, overall, this machine and how it's implemented is more annoying than it is fun. I can't see kids really enjoying this unless you got some really cool little toys to put in there. And, there are just parts of it the claw won't be able to reach, like the front corners.

This claw machine is small. Smaller than other ones I've seen in store. We actually bought a different one in a store last year for 5 bucks cheaper and it was a little bigger, functioned better, and just felt like better quality overall.With this one, it is hard to pick up the toys. The plush are too flat for it to grab. It is easy enough to control and for young kids to get the hang of, but the grabber just doesn't grab these very well.If you want to put some other lightweight, not so flat, but still small toys in, it would probably work a little better.Even with my own complaints about it from the parent perspective, the kids kept pretty entertained with it, although they did say it is hard to pick up the toys. If your kids like challenges and don't get upset too easily, it will probably work out OK. One of the 6 year olds here gets too frustrated with it more quickly, and the other 6 year old keeps trying without frustration but, still mentions it is harder than it should be. She plays claw machines at the boardwalk arcades all summer long and is quite good at it, especially for her age, so for her to complain about a toy claw machine tells you something.

This is a really cute toy to have. It brings so much excitement to my kids when they're able to grab a prize with the claw. It's plays music and also lights up. This is a nice change for the kids to be able to win prizes because we all know how hard it is in real life to win a prize in a claw machine. Takes some time to put together and can be used either by batteries or plugged in. This would make a nice gift for little kids.

The mini claw machine is so cute. Quality is good for price and as sturdy as you’d imagine it to be. ^^ The kids had a fun time playing with it that I had to start adding other things such as mini candy and such for them. Kids were able to figure out how to play it themselves and even started to come up with ideas on how to successfully grab an item. XD

We have tried all sorts of small toys and candy, but none are working good at all with the claw machine. While still fun with the provided toys, it lacks long term usability. Also, not able to turn off the music is a big thumbs down.

This claw machine toy works so well. It doesn't take up too much space and it looks so cute. My kids are having so much fun with this classic arcade game.
